I needed a bright light in my kitchen...this is great, so bright and very nice looking.

I bought this one and a matching smaller one and I love how bright this is for my 25' foyer. This light can be dimmable and also change up the hues to different warm light to cool lights. the 19" base is perfect and it fit well in my modern farmhouse design. I used the remote to choose the light hue and put it away. I like that it has a remote and its LED so no lightbulbs to change.

We are giving this a 4 stars mainly because it fits the aesthetic that we are going for. The wood and metal housing design fits perfectly for us and is well built. So its a 5 star for looks.Operation is where this falls off, for us. It requires the remote for everything. That's not ideal for our application and probably not ideal for most people who are using this as the main overhead light in a room. The saving grace is that if you dial in your settings with the remote then you can use the light switch to turn it off and on without it resetting to a default temp and brightness. 2 stars on operation. What we did was removed all the internal LEDs and Driver, and replaced them with a dimmable retrofit LED and Driver set. this also allowed the housing to sit flush against the ceiling as well.Which leads me into how easy/difficult it was to install. It gets 3 stars for install ease. There are 2 ways to install this light. One, use drywall anchors and drill holes in your ceiling (THIS IS A NO GO and stupid idea in my opinion) or if you have an existing light fixture box in ceiling use the standard screw holes (US, cant speak for other countries). Using the later method the only problem is that the wide part of the screw holes in the light housing are not wide enough to fit over standard screw heads. So you will need to hold the light housing up and thread the screws through the housing and into the ceiling light fixture box. Most light housings allow you to pre-screw screws into the ceiling box then put the housing up and lock in place. Installing this light was more annoying than hard.TL;DR - We bought this for the looks and we love it. If you dont mind using a remote to operate the light then you are all set. If you dont want the remote you can remove the LEDs and Driver and replace rather easily. Install wasn't difficult but it was annoying, not as easy as other lights to install.

Looks great. But be careful while handling

the light is modern looking. It is in our dining room and matches with the kitchen counters. Bright also.

It's not flush mount. I don't even think the person who made the instructions understands English. The light changes whatever color it wants. The remote doesn't work. And the lights change to whatever color they like.

Love the lighting it provides and very easy to install
