Not accurate, costed a gasket and wasted time.
I specifically required a thermostat that (within reason) opened around 160. This one didn't open until 181 degrees. I won't leave one star because Stant has been historically a dependable company, maybe they just had a bad day.

Gave one star because I couldn't give zero stars.
This item did not fit. It was about 2-3 mm to big for my thermostat housing. Fortunately, my local NAPA store had the correct thermostat and the price was less. Don't order this !!!
