EFFECTIVE
we’ve all been feeling it as of late- dread. we live in a transaction based world that’s defined by a per diem, and day after day we have to spend our money. then the notification bell goes off: “you have -$484.89 in your account”. dread.we live in a time where words like “cost effective” come out of my mouth more than saying “i love you” to my wife or family. we’re always looking for ways to save a dollar here and a nickel there hoping for it to add up for some relief. and it’s this kind of thing that has me wanting to write this review. i’m going to make a suggestion: buy this product that you could also easily make at home yourself. buy it. there’s no better deal.my work space is fairly large with high ceilings. during the spring and summer months it becomes flooded with flies, moths, and mosquitoes, and there’s nothing i can do to prevent this. initially i spent thousands on spray cans, traps, and electronics to stop the infestation, but it never worked. i’d end up inhaling so many chemicals and pass out for days at a time- my wife actually left me because she thought i was having an affair when really i was just lifeless on the floor in my studio next to two empty spray cans. so i decided to stop spending and let nature do the job for me. that’s right- let the spiders do their thaaaang and feast.that’s when too many spiders started showing up. they feasted, but they were also just having sex all the time because my infestation only got worse due to the spiders taking over. that’s when i decided to buck up and get these strips.in my photos you will see how effective these honey glazed hair removal strips are. my 3rd photo also highlights how well a strip works in comparison to a spider. do you see how dumb that spider looks? well they can only look dumber because some spiders have tried taking the catches on the strips to eat as their own. bad idea, idiot spider, because your legs are now glued to my trap and you will feel it’s wrath.things are now pretty good for me. i go to meetings twice a week for chemical inhalation anonymous, i’ve saved over $7,000 on chemical heavy bug sprays, i no longer lose 3 days out of my 5 day work week due to being passed out, my spider infestation is gone, and my wife even got back together with me. that’s mainly because we have a really toxic relationship, but it works for us. so moral of the story- buy this product. it works wonders and maybe it can even save your life too. thanks, product! and thanks, amazon!

Does not attract flies and work as described
It does not work. In area with lots of fruit flies flying around, there are very few flies on tape. Tape is paper and breaks easily. First picture is of product with minimal flies stuck to tape. Second picture is another sticky tape full of flies which I thought I was buyingEdited 4/9/25.It works for house flies as well as fruit flies and tiny unidentified bugs if left hanging for over a week

Just okay
Not too bad, but they don’t all open up as they should. They completely pull off the hang loop.

I put it in the Town Square of Flies. It caught none.
Bought these to use near my dog's bathroom area (which I clean constantly -- it's not some fetid cesspool of dog droppings). The flies did not find this ribbon attractive. After two weeks (with two ribbons covered outside and one inside), I caught zero flies. I did catch a small variety of other smaller insects. I discarded the rest of the box.The adhesive is sticky. If you touch the ribbon, it'll leave a sticky residue on your fingertips. I don't know why these didn't work for me, but they seem to work for other people. Maybe the flies in this area are evolving. If you do buy these, read the instructions. You'll need to warm the ribbon before pulling it out or you'll rip the top off. I held the tube very high over my stove's gas burner for a few seconds to loosen up the adhesive on the ribbon. Please note: I did not put it in the fire or near the fire, but held it about a foot above it.
