Super comfortable for everyday wearing
I’m a journeyman lineman, I wear these boots 7 days a week 365 days a year and I climb poles with them. These are extremely lightweight and comfortable with no break In whatsoever. I’m walking multiple miles a day in them and they are holding up well. Haven’t work them in a cold winter yet, but in the SoCal summer they don’t get too hot

waterproof for 6 months - last 8-12 months for me
These are a solid 5 star boot for the first 6 months. I've worn these for years and the first thing to go is the waterproof-ness ( within 6 months). The inner "sock" keeps your feet from getting wet but.. in summer sweat doesn't have anywhere to go so your feet stay wet ( i compensated by wearing light wool socks by darn tough) ... in winter the boot freezes so then your feet freeze. Its like standing in a puddle with plastic bags on your feet. I'm not talking one trip around the lawn in wet grass, I'm talking where your boots get soaked like working all morning in wet grass or hiking across ankle deep streamif you manage to keep the outside dry then they last about a year before the heel wears too far ( for me ) and the arch starts to be too compressedI use these in commercial construction ( the sites are big) so you do a lot of walking and hiking so I put a lot of miles on these

Awesome boot
I’ve had flat feet forever so the Corps was a challenge for 21 years when it comes to boots . I retired and came across this boot and hands down this boot was a miracle on my feet ! No real break in period needed . Still on my feet most of the day and I have not had a foot issue since . BEWARE though REI recommended a cobbler up in Washington who would resolve boot . I did not read the fine print and it came back with a vibram sole on it . Completely changed the way the boot walked and it hurt my feet after one day . Nothing against vibram soles but not a good replacement for this boot . Had to buy a new pair . No two feet are the same but this boot was a miracle/game changer for me . Awesome piece of gear . You won’t be disappointed .S/F

My Favorite Hiking Boots
I am an avid hiker and have been hiking in these boots for as long as I can remember. I think this is my 5th pair. They fit my feet well, are durable, comfortable, but not heavy. They are waterproof which is a must almost everywhere I hike. You can put these on right out of the box and go hiking. No real break-in period needed. Comes in handy when you do a lot of hiking like the AT. I replace the foot beds with SuperFeet insoles. I know, expensive, but, if your feet aren't happy, you wont be happy hiking. Love these boots.

I've owned many brands of hiking boots, many are just OK and do the job, but these are awesome!
Great fit (10.5 men's, and I have a slightly narrow foot), so I did not "swim" in these as I would feel in other boots of similar quality and price. Excellent construction and appearance (if that matters to you).
