I like the reduction in calories over sugar syrup, especially over the summer when I’m enjoying iced coffee and cocktails more frequently. There is a difference in the taste and smell if you drink it near but I like it and it’s not noticeable in the majority of drinks I put it in so it doesn’t matter. The one lite bottle is great value, but get the pump, it just makes it easier.

Originally purchased to replace the normal sugar syrup in our cocktails as we're on a health kick (to reduce calories! Also, we didnt want to drink less cocktails :-) ! )I can say that there is hardly any noticable difference and the cocktails still taste just as good as with the regular syrup (we usually use funkin pro sugar syrup, monin, or canadou from morrisons).I would compare our drinks now to the difference between pepsi max (sugar free) and coca cola (full fat). Cleaner tasting to regular sugar.There is a review saying it tastes "floral". Yes I did notice this when drinking it straight from the bottle....But why would you do that?! (i did it out of curiosity..!) Now, it is meant to be mixed in drinks, and when it is, we experienced zero floral taste.Also, regular sugar syrup tastes pretty weird from the bottle too, but again, why would you drink it neat?!Very happy with this syrup, we would purchase again and recommend for healthy cocktails!

I was quite excited to try this after all the positive "there's no aftertaste" reviews. Sadly, there is. A definite "artificial sweetener" cloying at the back of the mouth. I realise I should have just expected it, but I was hoping.It's not disgusting, but it's definitely there

Pleasant flavour, even my little one likes it in smoothies!It's just slightly less sweet than a traditional gomme syrup but it doesn't have any nasty after taste and it does work amazingly in cocktails too!Highly recommended

I drink old fashioneds and being diabetic, I know drinking full sugar syrups is terrible for me. So I decided to splurge and get this instead. The taste is fantastic, you definitely don't experience any of that sweetener bitterness that you can find as an aftertaste. I'll be purchasing this as standard from now on.
