Pure Resonance AudioMC2.5B Dual 2.5” Swiveling Surround Sound Mini Cube Speaker (Pair, Black) (with Brackets)

Like other reviewers, I was looking for a small speaker for a specific application. I have a Sony 100 watt x 2 stereo receiver and an old Optimus dual voice coil, 200 watt passive subwoofer. The subwoofer hooks up in series with a set of speakers to add bass, such as for small bookshelf speakers. But the Sony speakers I was using with this subwoofer made it a lot of speaker for the receiver to power. I had my eye on the Bose Acoustimass 5 for some time but I only wanted the cubes, not the bass module. When I saw the back of the bass module I realized it was no different then the Optimus speaker I already have. So I was going to get the Bose 161 bookshelf speaker instead but that had terrible reviews. Plus, listening to them at Best Buy made me walk away. Then I stumbled on this product and it was exactly what I wanted. I usually prefer to hear the speaker before buying but took a chance and I'm very happy. These speakers sit on a shelf on either side of the TV and I swiveled them toward the walls. First, I was happy to see they're rubber surrounds instead of foam (shame on you, Bose). And I was not expecting much clarity in the upper sound range without a tweeter but this speaker sounds terrific. Combined with my Optimus sub, I have probably better than Bose quality sound, definitely more bass and at way less cost plus I can use my current equipment. I did notice the grill could be a tighter fit and other reviewers noticed this as well. Nothing a dab of Gorilla glue won't fix. I can't comment on the bracket since these are on a shelf and not mounted to anything and they were packaged separately in the shipping container. I'm very pleased with the sound quality of this speaker and it's exactly what I wanted and Bose didn't sell. This was for a bedroom system but I can see buying two more plus an individual speaker for a 5.1 application. Also, I couldn't believe the service I received from the vendor. I received a follow up call confirming the order. Yes, a call, not just an email, but an actual person taking the time. I ordered Monday and received it by Wednesday and they threw in a thank you card signed by a gal at the company. Very nice touch. I've ordered other items on Amazon and other internet providers and never once received this. I'm very happy with the seller and can't say enough good things about them. If this speaker catches your eye I say buy it because it's better than expected. With its lower power rating it could probably even work on a shelf system if your speakers are damaged. Again, very happy with the product and the seller.

My current satellite speakers in my home theater, made by Infinity are about 18 years old. While watching Top Gun Maverick last week, I noticed my rear channel speakers were crackling and distorted. It was my conclusion that the cones in them had probably deteriorated over the years and finally cracked inside. Now the hunt was on for some new replacement’s.I only needed two sets for my front and rear left and right channels. My large center channel and sub woofer are fine and did not need replacing.I came upon these while searching on Amazon. They look very much like the Bose cube speakers. A majority of the reviews I read were mostly positive. This helped and if I didn’t like them, I could return them.They arrived yesterday and I installed them. I’m happy to say “I am very pleased”. The price was excellent. I didn’t break the bank. They are high in quality and weight. The sound is very crisp and clear. I also like the metal grill on these instead of fabric.I did purchase the ones with mounting brackets. They compliment the speaker and make installation easy. I didn’t find it difficult at all to get everything set up the way I wanted it.Please note:If these are used by themselves without a sub woofer, they will sound tinny. Just treble and mid-range sound will be heard. These are satellite speakers for the most part and will complement a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system nicely with a sub woofer.I highly recommend these speakers and would definitely purchase them again if I had to. I hope this review helps in choosing the right speakers for your system.

They are great speakers but seller did not include brackets as described in the order. Unable to mount them.Seller shipped missing parts after I notified.

After trying several "sound bars" for my computer setup, I finally gave up since they all have this thing calledDSP Technology that ruined everything that came out of them. So I went looking for a better solution. I needed something that was light enough that I could mount to my monitor bracket that I installed on the back of my monitor. These fit that bill and more. They are light and have amazing sound. I paired these with a Fosi Audio BT20A being fed from my computer. These with my sub give a very full sound that is very clear. They will probably last for as long as I have them. Great buy.

Nice little speakers ! Just didn’t get mounting brackets, had to buy another brand

Had to take down some larger Polk audio bookshelf speakers that were on stands because the kids kept almost knocking them over. These were small enough to mount to a railing we have behind our couch. For the audio coming from the rear signal for surround sound, I can’t notice a difference. They look exactly like the Bose satellite speakers and sound amazing.

As many have said before, I was looking for something similar to the Bose cube speakers for my rear surround sound speakers. These fit the bill perfectly. Came well packaged, with the wall mounts and all needed hardware. As soon as I pulled them out the box, I grabbed the grills and gave a little tug and sure enough, 2/4 grills popped off. However, they popped right back on and don't feel loose enough to fall off. I mean, once mounted on the wall, are you really going to be moving them and grabbing them? They exceeded my expectations for sound. Once I got my reciever dialed in, they perform well. They really fill my big living room with great sound. I'm planning on buying another set to replace my front speakers so I can move those to my patio. You can't go wrong with these. A great buy. Also, I ordered these on the 6th. Amazon estimated them to arrive on the 18th. They were shipped the same day and arrived at my house on the 8th. A+ on shipping them out quickly.
