Surprising value for the cost
The laptop was delivered today, upon booting I was impressed with the build quality, it was bought to replace my mother’s HP Victus that had suffered a motherboard failure and comparing, the build quality is about the same. Display is beautiful and quite sharp for a 1080p display. After coupon was $289 shipped. To answer a few questions I had before I received the item:The SSD is a 512GB SATA m.2, and no the laptop does not recognize an nvme drive at all, the m.2 port only has sata support. This is not as big of an issue as you’d think, boot time is 9-11 seconds. The ram is soldered onto the motherboard, but it’s DDR5 and 16gb should be more than enough so not a huge deal.Almost no deck flex and better feeling keyboard than should be reasonably expected from a chuckled keyboard at this price, and a HUGE trackpad.Speakers are decent quality and get about as loud as my iPad Air 5th gen.USB C ports do NOT support USB-PD for charging, even if your adapter supports 12v 36 watt like the included barrel charger. However, there are two of them and they do support USB 3.0 speeds at least up to 10gbps, didn’t test 20gbps yetBattery is physically huge, but only lasts ~3-4 hrs of actual use per charge.Of note: windows 11 installed by default configured to create local account without requiring Microsoft account login.Overall I’m extremely impressed, if you need a laptop for browsing the web, watching YouTube, reading ebooks, playing *light* games (emulators, old games or point and click style), ms office, and don’t mind being plugged in most of the time, you can’t honestly beat the value here.

Garbage
This is by all means a piece of trash. In 2 years we haven’t even used it 20 times top, the system crashed its not uploading windows system anymore, neither is giving you a chance to reboot it from safe mode because this laptop was made of pieces of garbage literally.

Updated- Good support and good value, can get NMVe to be recognized.
Updated 2022/08/30: Checked with support, I was told that the M.2 slot 0 is both NVMe and SATA and the M.2 slot 1 is only SATA. I took a disk copy from the original M.2 slot STAT drive to a new NVMe drive. It would not recognize the drive and BIOS show no NVMe device. While the NVMe boots up in my Dell Precision 7510 no problem. Took a star away, I wish I could have got it working but it just seemed that the PCIe could not read the drive nor can it be set as a boot device (if it can't see it, it can't boot).Updated 2022/08/27: I was unable to active the Windows 11 (just want to clarify the issue of the Windows unable to activate, the per-build product code depends on the country that you are in to activate. If you were shipped an pre-build image that is not in your country then it would not activate. Just contact support with the invoice, serial number and country, they will send you a valid activation key for your country.), contacted support, they responded within 24 hours and resolved the issue in 48 hours, consider that they are in China, it is very fast. Much faster than some of the US companies that I contacted in the last 6 months. It is not the fastest laptop, it is a great value for travel or girls who does not play 3D games. The good: laptop is beautiful good qualify for what you pay. Screen is very nice while everyone had gone to the wide screen, it retained the more traditional screen ratio. The scree is pretty, no doubt. The bad: it is actually decent speed but very slow when running Windows Update. Biggest Problem: I cannot activate the Windows 11 Home that it was preinstalled. I have just contact the support and let's see if they can correct the issue. I am not going to spend another $130 for something that should be included. Stay Tuned... Resolved.

Incredible value
I had to replace a Jumper laptop with similar specs because I have to project to a very large monitor via HDMI and the Chuwi unlike the Jumper PC has a rugged full size HDMI port as opposed to a mini or micro HDMI which is not as reliable and sturdy. The Pentium N100 quad core microprocessor is very fast and when coupled with 16 Gb of DDR5 Ram, Wifi 6 and 12th gen Intel UHD graphics I am able to stream just about any video in 4K. Dell and HP are still pushing DDR4 Ram for at least $200 more for similar specs and the much higher speed of DDR5 Ram makes this laptop a very smart choice. They're all made in China anyways.

3.5 out of five.
hi, we had the laptop for less than a year and the battery it had swollen up or something and I noticed where the port is to charge the laptop. It doesn’t work or functional anymore but basically I had to buy another laptop on top of money I spent money trying to buy charger plug

Best bang for your buck!!
This computers screen is so wide, and the resolution is amazing!I was worried that the computer would lag, lack in the resolution department and that the cheaper solution means that I would be trading something of value. Boy was I wrong!!!Crystal clear videos, every single time, windows up to date, screen is probably the best- crystal clear resolution- vibrant color displays!!Honestly I really almost purchased a Microsoft Surface for 10x the price, and I am totally glad that I did not.

Dead Pixels... Charger doesn't charge. Sata NOT Nvme.
Quality control must be non existent in China. Screen has Dead Pixels in lower left corner, It's not like it's the end of the world but come on... Charge block worked for less than 10 minutes, then smoked out and quit, I hope it didn't F up the computer itself. Finally, In the main body of the sales literature it says supports up to two NVME 2280 ssd drives. NO! not NVME , Sata. Not too terribly upset, but I was looking forward to gifting this to my son for his school work, now, not so much.
