Easy to fill and use.

I picked up these empty capsules to fill with some bulk herbal supplements. Although they can be taken by mixing them in water or by adding them to some juice, my wife is a bit more sensitive to the taste than I am. These capsules do the trick with hiding the taste. We are able to fill the capsules ourselves and in the long run it will be nice to put together some of our own supplements. The capsules arrived in good condition; we didn’t notice any that were broken or cracked. We did a test in a small dish of water to see how quickly they dissolve. The capsule we tested dissolved in only a few minutes. Happy with the results, we filled a few up and tried them out. We were able to fill them easily and they are a good size that is easy to swallow. They have no taste and I am also happy that they have no added sugar. I will definitely get these again.

Love these! I use them for bitter med for my dogs. Cut tablets in half and slip them into these capsules. Turns a difficult task into an easy one! My dog would refuse bad tasting pills even when hidden in roast beef, turkey and other yummy treats. But once in the tasteless capsule- down go the meds! My dog was also prescribed Tyland powder. Vet said sprinkle it on her food... No-go on that! Dog won't eat it. So, I cut a little spoon into the end of a straw, scooped the powder and then the straw spoon fits perfectly into the capsule to pour the powder in. Pop the capsule back together and your done. The capsules came in great shape none broken. They open easily but stay closed always. No problems with them at all. Highly recommed.

These are great caps for the money. A bit large but its ok. I always test all supplements in a glass with a little vinager and warm water to see if the capsules desolve, to memic the stomach juice.If they don't desolve in 10-15 minutes in this mix or in plain water, I am wasting money in purchasing them and I return it for full refund. These capsules desolved quickly and I am pleased with them. So many supplements will not desolve in warm water with vinegar and it is eliminated from the body without being utilized. It trully is a waste of money so please do your homework and test out your newly purchased supplements/caps of any kind. I have a personal experience from this ordeal. I started testing all supplements when after I noticed that I was ELIMINATING the caps/supplement intact. You will be glad you did because then you'll know if you are utilizing them or not. If they don't desolve in water and vinegar, then they are not desolving in your gut.

These are basic size 0 veggie caps. They are super easy to fill by hand - I used them for ginger. Price is pretty good, bug if you use lots of size 0, it's cheaper to buy 1000 at a time.I cannot compare to gel capsules - I choose not to use animal products. However, I've heard veggie caps are more rigid, take longer to dissolve, and don't have a tendency to stick together. Gel caps are usually less expensive and some people do prefer them. It all comes down to personal preference - Now Foods sells both.

Easy to use, gets the job done, no taste, easy to swollow. Lots for your money. Performs well.

I'm very happy with this product, and can't believe I've waited as long as I did to purchase these. I use these to take certain essential oils (that are safe to ingest) internally and they work wonderfully. They are very thin so I haven't tried to fill them more than a minute or 2 in advance of taking them, but when I take right after adding the oil they do hold up. If you are new to veggie caps (like I was), be aware that they are delicate and if you close them too tightly they will not hold and the oil may leak out. It only happened to me the 1st time, and I found they do close securely without much effort. I will definitely purchase these again!

I use these with my capsule maker that makes 100 size 0 capsules at a time. This is the best brand I’ve found with these as the top 3 reasons: 1. least amount of breakage when mating the two pieces together, 2. Sturdy capsule, 3. Great packaging in a strong resealable bag. Some other companies give you a flimsy bag and then suddenly all your capsules are flying out all over the floor! If these are out of stock and I have to buy another brand, I actually save these empty bags and place the other brand inside of them because I never have to worry about the bag unexpectedly opening!
