Diode DynamicsSSC2 SAE/DOT White Pro Standard LED Pod (pair), Combo w/Amber Backlight

I wanted a pod that I could use to supplement my high beams. This set was perfect as they are SAE/DOT compliant and are legal for on-road use. They also fit the spot perfectly for my retrofit project.These bad boys are bright! For reference, they are brighter than my Colorado’s stock high beams! Exactly what I was looking for.When they came, they were securely packaged and included basic mounting brackets and plugs that you could attach to a wire harness/switch.I don’t use the backlight function, but in my experience with these pods so far, I’m sure that they would operate flawlessly.You pay for the quality and performance, but these are definitely worth the money.

I was skeptical while installing these (I used the wiring harness from Diode Dynamics also) if they would be useful or not, but using them I can vouch for the fact that they provide plenty of light . Install was incredibly easy with the pre made harness, the fog pattern is also very useful for supplementing your headlights if they don't perform well enough. the quality of these lights is also very good, the fit and finish are both great and I'd buy these again in a heartbeat if I need more.

The media could not be loaded. I used these as my hood ditch lights. I love the amber DRL when it's off and how powerful the light is in a small package. Driving light pattern is perfect to mimic your high beams to see down the road.

These lights are absolutely fantastic! Hands down the smallest and brightest lights I have ever owned. I couldn’t decide between these lights and Baja designs s2pros and these are almost identical to my friends s2 pro spot lights, they just don’t throw quite as far with the sae beam pattern.

I installed these with the hope of having a 2-in-1 option of Amber for dusty trails as well as rear lighting for camp or even just backing up in dark areas. Well, the amber lighting gave off some light at best. I was honestly dissapointed in getting a light that was north of $300 after taxes and delivery fee and having such a weak Amber. I used it on several trips only to be told on the radio that they could barely see my Amber in both dusty and rainy scenarios.I do have to give credit for their white light though. Super bright and the spill was wide and clean but from what i paid over their closest competitor I expected much more.
