Great for your face
I've been using this stuff for years and it doesn't burn your face if you have just shaven. It helps keep from getting wind burned I have noticed and I will continue buying it.

Trust your face to Nivea
I only use Nivea for men for maintaining my skin. All of their products are of the highest quality. This item has really helped my aging skin after shaving. It soothes your face and keeps my skin moisturized all day.

Good aftershave balm for men
I got this on the reviews of vloggers. I think it's OK. It smells too masculine and is too sticky for a woman. I got it to wear as a primer for make-up but didn't like it for that use. Tried to give it to my husband and he didn't care for it. It's not bad, it's not great. It's fine. I would advise women to ignore the vloggers who suggest to use this as a make-up primer. It's an after shave balm for men and is advertised correctly. That said, I would still recommend a man use moisturizer post shaving and this alone may not be moisturizing enough on it's own. It's a true balm in that sense. If you're looking for only a mild after shave treatment, then this would be sufficient. If you want more moisture post shaving, you need to add a moisturizer after you use this.

Great sensitive aftershave balm!
I like most of the Nivea for Men products and I decided to try a few of their other products in haven't yet tried before. I don't have terribly sensitive skin but do get irritation occasionally, so I figured I'd give this one a shot.I do like it better than the Nivea Energy balm; much more pleasant scent and feels a bit more gentle. The smell is good but short lived. I was actually a bit surprised it had any noticeable fragrance at all, but it still felt gentle on my skin. A lot of other similar products feel gentle at first but end up giving minor irritation from all the added fragrance but this one did not. It felt great after shaving and no redness later. My face felt smooth and moisturized the entire day.I'll likely try some of the Nivea cooling balms at some point but will likely fall back on this one if they prove to be too harsh. This one strikes a nice balance of a mild/moderate scent and a fresh, soft feeling face after shaving. Great product overall.

Smell like a man, look like a woman
First of all, I'm using this as a makeup primer, so don't read this if you're hoping to use this for normal purposes.Consistency - It's sort of watery, but that means that it goes around my whole face with a very small amount and this has lasted a couple months so far and I don't even think it's half gone.Smell - it smells like an aftershave, but I like it. Good man smell, not axe, know what I mean?Lasting Power - I've had this for a few months and I didn't really notice that much of a difference until I realized something. I did my friend's makeup before a debate tournament with this and my setting spray. I thought it was the setting spray that made her makeup last so much longer than it usually does, but the next day when she did her own makeup without this, it didn't last at all and started getting all splotchy and bad.So this, as a primer, doesn't only make it last longer, it keeps things looking smooth and flawless even with cheap makeup.

Unpleasant smell
Nivea Sensitive skin aftershave has a smell I find unpleasant and a little revolting. I usually buy the hydrating/refreshing flavor but this by mistake. This may not bother some or even most people but if you're sensitive to smell, you may want to skip this.

Hard to go wrong
Not really qualified for a 5 star review as I have only tried 3 post shave balms. One was bad. Nivea and Gilbert Henry were good in that order. I have both so use both. Nivea does exactly as stated which is very good. I did add a strong 1/4 ounce of witch hazel to Nivea which is missing and always shake before use as I do everything. I put Gilbert Henry on top over Nivea as I like bay rum smell and they work good together. A little dab goes a long way on both. I may use Nivea during the day again if need more moisture as it really helps for healthy feeling skin and razor burn. Gilbert Henry does have alcohol but it is the last ingredient. Neither has menthol which is worst if you do not rinse good, especially in shaving soap which gets locked into the pores before you can rinse.
