Good product, good quality, even resistance.
I'm a guitarist, and used to use these for conditioning. Now I'm going to have trigger finger surgery and these are what I will use for recovery. I bought the two stiffest, blue and black. Nice gap between the two, and nice even resistance. Very comfortable in hand.

Seems a little easy, not like what black should feel
I bought black and gold. There's no real balance between them. Black is stupid easy vs gold being freakishly strong. Still a good finger exerciser

Much better than the other model
I bought a different brand which was similar to this called the Grip Master. The Gripmaster is less expensive but harder to hold in my larger hands. That one was 5 lbs. This one is 9 lbs.I was doing over 200 reps each hand with the 5 lb. model. So I felt Ineeded something more, so I bought this one. I'm doing 100 reps on this oneand that's for fingertips. My wife is now using the 5 lb Grip Master. The thing I like about the Digi-Flex is that it has a much larger gripbut is still very compact. Yes, it costs a lot more but it's worth it.I don't have to reposition it every 25 reps like the Grip Master.I think this is the strongest they make at 9 lb.Overall I'd reccomend the Digi-Flex over the Grip Master.Just remember that you have to switch to thumb exercies as well as fingertips.I am so glad I spent the money and bought this over a Walmart cheapie.

Cando Digi-Flex Hand and Finger Exerciser
Quality product, performs well, stiffer resistance than the Blue exerciser (which it should be). Comes with instructions that have about 6 different types of exercises. Recommend for musicians and recovering stroke victims.

OK, but don't overdo it
Worked fine for rehab of a minor injury. Physical therapist warned of clients overdoing it with this set of products (they come in varying tensions or resistances). A little too much exercise, and I began to feel symptoms similar to carpal tunnel syndrome. Easy does it.
