Excel Tube Occluding Clamps, Smooth Jaws, 7inch

I used to work in an OR and always volunteered to repurpose elderly instrumentation being led out to pasture (read: trash).These are just as good and come in the same variety of sizes. And they are reasonably priced. I find them INVALUABLE around the house, in the car, and in your toolbox - everywhere. Useful for fixing jewelry, glasses, retrieving fallen items in disposal, drain, between and under the car seats, various repairs with tiny pieces involved - I can't name all the uses I've found and will discover for them.I don't know why they aren't included in tool kits, sewing kits, jewelry kits, cars, etc.I've even considered using them in self defense! (Especially the ones that have "teeth" and ratchet closed in varying degrees of pressure!)Unfortunately I suspect that hospitals aren't afforded the same option in pricing so whatever they do pay it will, I assure you, get passed on to you!

With a little practice, usable with one hand, when other hand is administering fluids. Decent clamping compression.

Finally! A clamp with thick strong jaws that don't deform when clamping down on some vinyl hose. I was using some cheap carmalts that totally failed, but these are heavy-duty and are made for occluding stiff tubing.

They do what they're supposed to do--they let me clamp off 1/2" ID silicone tubing. Would buy again.

Flat forceps are hard to find. Great for pinching barbs.

No teeth on the clamp. Other than that, exactly what I expected.

Bought these for turning rag doll parts. They work perfectly.
