You really need this to play the base game

Not sure what is up with the title, but it is definitely the Civilisation Expansion. Makes a good game excellent!

A must have addition to the game. We decided to play Civilisation directly with this expansion without wasting our time on the base game.... suffered a bit at the beginning because of all the rules and details.... but was totally worth it.This expansion changes several aspects and rules of the base game such in addition to adding districts (specialised control tokens with special powers), governments, armies, Leader cards (enhanced focus card per civilisation) and a 5th player... all the additions and changes offer a more balanced and a more diversified game. It’s been our gaming group favourite for three months now.If you’re a fan of Civilisation a new dawn then this expansion is a must have.

Adds a lot of new content to the base game and the ability to have a fifth player.The pack adds Armies, 10 new Civilisations (including England, Netherlands and others), 6 Government types for your civilisation (Autocracy, Monarchy, Republic, Democracy, Communism, Oligarchy), new victory cards, new world wonders, and districts for your cities. It’s also nice to not have to have my fifth friend sit and watch on game nights now!

The item title is board game and expansion, however, it clearly states on the box that you need Civilisation A new dawn to play. Therefore, useless unless you buy the original game this is useless. Money wasted
