I bought several of these back in 2021, and they still work just as well as the day I got them, even though I rarely turn some of them off! The housing and diffuser haven’t shown any signs of cracking or degradation despite near-constant use. They’re genuinely fun to use and have been compatible with every IoT platform and device I’ve tried so far.One standout feature is the impressive automation flexibility offered by the Meross app. You can even configure them to have a timed auto-shut off without Internet or WiFi, all though you must have be on a local network to configure this setting on the device. The app supports a wide range of conditional options for automation. For example:From: Sunset to SunriseIf: Lamp A is off and Lamp B’s brightness is between 5% and 15%Then: Run scene “Movie Time – After Sundown” → Delay 2 hours → Set Lamps A, B, C, and D to amber at 45% brightnessYou can also schedule lamp states to trigger a certain amount of time before or after sunset or sunrise, which adds even more flexibility.I’ve had a blast experimenting with different setups. I’ve even built basic logic gates using these lights, the app’s automation features, and wall switches in my home. It’s way more powerful than I expected. Best of all, Meross is still actively updating the app and maintaining device support years later.Good IoT manufacturers should build devices that support open-source ecosystems and retain basic functionality without forcing the use of proprietary apps. Meross appears to be one of those companies, and that’s why I’m happy to keep using and recommending their products.

Primero, en general le doy 9.5/10 puntos en relación calidad-precio ¡excelente producto! Y esta puntuación porque son compatibles con Alexa, Google y Smart Things; en mi caso los uso con: HomeKit de Apple!!! Fáciles de configurar, primero: estar conectado a red wifi 2.4 y agrégalos desde la app Casa (Home) y después en la app de Meross se vincularán, el manual lo explica perfecto.Considerando que es un foco de color y lo que importa es el brillo, también 10/10 ya que en comparación a otros similares de otras marcas, estos son de los que más brillo tienen.Tercero, en funcionalidad me es difícil dar un puntaje pero evalúo dos aspectos:1- Prestaciones desde la app Casa (Home) de Apple, mmmmm… (dejando que la app Casa tiene limitaciones que en ocasiones no permite seleccionar o usar todas las funciones de un dispositivo y que sí están disponibles desde su aplicación nativa) pues… funcionan muy bien e igual que focos de todas las marcas: 10/102- Prestaciones desde la app de Meross: importante considerar que la aplicación de Meross es muy sencilla, fácil de entender y da información amplia del dispositivo; la selección de colores Blancos, se hace desde un círculo de color, entre fríos y cálidos ¡es excelente! Y para la selección de colores, desde un círculo de color. Calificación 10/10Problemas: considera que no sólo éste sino todos los focos tienen variación de color desde su app nativa o bien si pides a Siri en HomeKit o Alexa que pongan un color como ‘luz roja’ este color variará incluso desde la app nativa (urge que los desarrolladores establezcan un estándar al respecto) pero esta situación no es de los focos sino de Apple, Alexa, Google; aunque debo decir que el foco Meross mantiene más la gama de color entre HomeKit y su App, distinto al caso de mis focos de Xiaomi pero repito es problema de los sistemas no de los focos.3- Otras funciones: esperaba que este foco desde la app de Meross, tuviera ‘escenas’ o el efecto arcoíris donde cambian los colores en automático como el foco de “Xiaomi Mi LED Smart Bulb” desde la app de Xiaomi Home; pero no lo tiene, la selección de color es manual y como describí arriba es muy bueno tanto en blancos como en el círculo de color; quizá para el uso diario o general esta función no es tan útil, pero, con ambientación de música esperaba fuera igual para ubicar este foco en otros espacios de convivencia; considerando que esta función sólo está en las aplicaciones nativas y no está disponible en HomeKit y su uso a ciertos momentos, tratando de ser justo, le doy 8/10 espero que puedan mejorar este punto ya que es quizá lo que varios usuarios buscamos en un foco de este tipo.Y en uso, funciona bien, se adapta a todas las automatizaciones que tengo programadas y por el precio sin duda una muy buena opción de compra.

Overall great, just be aware of connection issues. Other reviews noted this as well, but I didn’t realize how much it occurred after set up. The longer I’ve had them the longer they stay connected. Customer service was prompt and helpful when I had a stubborn bulb that wouldn’t reconnect.

I like that I can use them with both HomeKit and the Meross app without the requirement of a HomePod. The ability to change the light temperature and color has really helped my eyes as well. I spend a lot of time working on multiple screens so having the right work light is top priority. These bulbs give me all the control and adjustability to give me the perfect light every time. Using the red color on 10% give or take in the middle of the night if you need to get up for something is absolutely perfect for not straining your eyes with bright white lights.Connection was super easy, and I have even moved the bulbs around without having to set them up again each time. ON IPHONE ID RECOMMEND CONNECTING TO THE HOMEKIT APP FIRST, THEN WHEN YOU OPEN MEROSS IT WILL POP UP AND ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS HIT ADD AND NAME IT.SUPER EASY. FIRMWARE UPDATE AVAILABILITY IN MEROSS APP. GREAT PRODUCT, I’m currently installing many more of these bulbs in any socket that will help make my life better. Price is great and again I love the fact that I don’t NEED to have a HomePod or Alexa system setup so there’s no remote access. Only invited parties logged into the homes WiFi have access. I believe a smart device shouldn’t be any smarter then needed so these bulbs are perfect for me. These are the first “smart devices” other then my tv and computers I’ve been willing to install in my life.Only thing I wish is that they offered larger packs so people that want to buy, say, 25+ bulbs at a time can get a better deal on them. Some other brands that require at least a lighting hub to control the smart lights sell bulbs much cheeper as well as in many more size options but I don’t have any first hand experience on the quality of those and again I couldn’t possibly complain about my MEROSS. WiFi reception is outstanding, couldn’t believe I didn’t need to extend my signal for some of my lights.
