Oblea is a dessert typical of Colombia and other Latin American countries such as Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru, Venezuela and Mexico. It consists of thin wafers sandwiching a sweet filling. Obleas are typically filled with arequipe or dulce de leche, though they may also contain jam, cheese, fruits, or whipped cream. They are sometimes served with marmalade, condensed milk, chocolate, raspberry sauce, cheese, coconut or other toppings.

Weird spread
Was not a fan of the caramel spread. I have had better from different brands. Half of the wafers came in broken as well.

Didn't like the spread as much as I thought I would. But they are good plain.

We loved them!
I got these to go along with our homeschool unit about Colombia and my daughter, husband, and I all really liked them. I wouldn't be worried by poor reviews, (I was but I'm glad I took the chance.) I'm guessing those people got a bad batch or maybe weather affected their items.

Great snack!
Our neighbors are from Columbia and gave one to my grandson. He absolutely loves them. Of course I had to get him a box! Thankfully Amazon carries them!
