Excellent device
Very easy to use even downloading and viewing the results in the App. I find the strap a little difficult to close but that is minor and may be just getting use to it. Happy with the results which match with other devices.

Ease of use fine but problem developed with charger cable
The item fulfils its purpose and has been in use for some time now without any problems regarding wearing it overnight. Its a shame that the excellent graphical display on the 'phone is not the same as that displayed on a computer. There is no obvious reason why they're different, and its a shame that you can't print the 'phone version as easily as the version on computer. One drawback is that whilst there is is the facility to type in notes on each record, the space available is very limited / restrictive. Finally, if your sleep is disturbed and you take a long time to get back to sleep, the record is for the entire period and so the calculated averages etc are skewed and the O2 "score" is less reliable. The unique charger cable developed a problem that was not possible to resolve through the "Help" service and the operator quickly established that the cable needed replacing and set that in motion immediately.

Fantastic Health Aid and Customer Service!
Needed to monitor sleep oxygen levels and heart rate and am so glad to have purchased this one.Once you get used to it, it is very easy to use and extremely comfortable to wear at night. It has proven to be as accurate as the sleep oxygen monitor used by the sleep clinic in hospital. The person using it only has small sized fingers but was able to successfully wear it on their thumb. So, for any similar wee people, do not worry as it worked perfectly.Had a little trouble with the USB lead being loose and erratic to connect, but this was very quickly resolved by the manufacturer's Customer Service who promptly arranged a replacement. They were excellent!Cannot praise this Pulse Oximeter/Overnight Sleep Oxygen Monitor, or its Customer Service, enough and would not hesitate to recommend.

Functional, but flawed
I bought this particular unit because it stores overnight data in a form that can be imported into the OSCAR software, and amalgamated with respiration data. To that extent, it works fine. The ring sensor fits snug on my little finger. It's not big enough to use anywhere else, but I have enormous hands. The cable that connects the ring sensor to the body of the unit is just long enough for me, and will probably be ample for normal people. After recording overnight, I synchronize the unit with the Android app, and then copy the data from the app to my laptop over a USB cable, to load into OSCAR. This is a tedious process, but it works fine. The sp02 readings do sometimes drop out, perhaps for a minute at a time. However, so far I have always had far more good data than missing data. This unit over-reads my hospital-grade sp02 meter by 1-2 percentage points. Of course, I have no way to know which of these machines, if either, is "correct". Whether your sp02 is 97 or 99 probably makes no difference; but it matters whether it's 88 or 90. Unfortunately, the method of measurement all these units use -- even the expensive hospital ones -- does not offer better accuracy than this. If your readings tend to be low (in the low 90's or less) than you should be aware that they might actually be even lower than they seem. The "ViHealth" Android app sometimes crashes my phone, or causes it to hang. So I don't use it other than for uploading data from the device. Whether it can do anything else, I don't know, and don't have an easy way to find out, because I need my phone to work.My main worry is that I can't tell how long a single battery charge lasts. I charge the unit every day, because there doesn't seem to be a way to see the battery level except when it's actually charging. There is something about this in the minimal printed manual, but I did not understand it. I wouldn't expect a tiny unit like this to run long on a charge, so perhaps it needs charging every day anyway. There's no on/off switch, so far as I can tell. The charging cable is (grrrr....) proprietory so, although the unit can charge from a computer, you'll need the original cable. I suspect the original cable is not just a charger -- there's a lump on the end that looks like it might have some electronics in.This isn't a cheap unit, and I expect a lot from it. It produces data that I believe is reasonably trustworthy, and works reliably. The Android app is disappointment, in that I can't use it other than for uploading data to my laptop, and even then I sometimes have to reset my phone. The lack of a physical on/off switch, and no clear indication of battery level, mean that I have to charge it every day.

Extremely helpful device.
So I tried it out last night and it works well. I always suspected I suffered from sleep apnea but when I started waking up suddenly in the middle of the night completely drenched in my own ice cold sweat I knew something needed to be done. So after my first try my oxygen levels are indeed plummeting alarmingly but thankfully the vibrator wakes me up before any more serious damage can be done. I can also use the app charts to show my doctor that there really is a problem to be addressed here. The product seems quite expensive for what it is but when i consider what it is actually is doing for me I’m glad that I spent the money. I think I could be using this every night until I get the problem sorted, it’s very reassuring to know that this little guy is watching me throughout that night and giving me a little nudge just when I need it.Ps.. an addition in response to other more recent posts that question the accuracy of this device ....I also care for a copd patient and have used this device as well as another thumb monitor on them and they accurately correlate with the paramedics professional readings with regards to spo2 levels ... so anyone getting wildly inaccurate results from this device evidently must have other issues they need to resolve.

does not track continuously
This SpO2 monitor does not track properly. When I download the reading there are lots of dotted lines which means that it was not reading. Even when I am sitting quietly watching tv - it is most of the time not reading the saturation. More time it is not reading than reading. Really not worth the money.
