Works, but slow and requires a few specific things
I own a husky 1800, and using a special bayonet adapter kit that I had from a powerwasher universal kit, I was able to use this pressure washer sandblasting kit. I give it three stars for a few reasons. First, it does work, but its really slow. I was blasting the frame of my trailer and it felt like it was taking days to just do one side of the trailer. I eventually stopped using it and switched to spray on paint remover, which sped up my project 10 fold. However, this will work to remove rust and paint you just have to stand there and let is do its thing. If I had a 4gpm pressure washer on a high volume sand blaster (which this is not), I could remove rust and paint in a hurry, but this is not that tool!! If you had a small part and needed it sand blasted, this would work, but you'd have to put the time into it. Also remember that any water on bare steel will cause instant flash rusting, so be aware of that. The second things is that you MUST use very fine sand. It has a problem where if it gets a chunk of sand in it that is large enough for the input tube but not enough for the exit tube where the water and sand combine, it will look like it explodes with water and then sends lots of water down the sand tube. I had this happen about 5 times over the course of the day. The key is to have very fine filtered sand. Play sand that I use was not filtered enough to use. I had to filter the play sand through a window screen that I had laying around to get the right size sand particles. And as other people have mentioned, if you put the gun down the wrong way, the sand tube fills with water and any sand in there will cause a clog. I really wish that they had an easier way to remove the sand tube. After pulling it out a few times to clean out the clog, you'll loose the little o-ring that is in there, and wear down the plastic part. I was thinking of cutting the tube and putting in a piece of metal tubing that I could clamp down so that when it clogs I could remove the clamp and pull off the hose without having to pull out the plastic clamp thing that karcher engineered into the nozzle, which I don't think is made for many extractions.

Wet sandblaster
Works very well, simple to use and effective in blast cleaning concrete and brickwork and metal surfaces back to bare metal. Works with sun dry bricklayers sand which is much more economical than buying kiln-dried sand. Uses a fair bit of sand so think before you spray around indiscriminately to avoid a mess.

takes lots of time
it does work albeit it is slow and messy but with lots of time, the sand will take paint off wood (wood fibers too!), paint off metal and cleans stains off concrete.I initially struggled with adjusting the nozzle to pull the sand but once I got the nozzle at the right length, it really pulled sand out of the bag and into the water stream.I was using the Karcher 1700psi electric pressure sprayer. The downside, i could not use a different nozzle (spray pattern)but what came with the blaster-basic hole, round pattern. i would anticipate this becoming bigger as sand wears away the inner nozzle. In comparison it is significantly cheaper than the outlay for a real compressor and necessary equipment and water does contain the dust but will splatter mud.A poor persons sand blaster for those occasional jobs (if you already have a Karcher pressure washer). If i was serious about sandblasting or had several items, (bring them to a headstone engraving company ), or I would rent the compressor, gun (may have to buy) and build my own cabinet for small jobs and use pellets or alternatives that is available to sand.

Superduper
I watched a Karcher video on water sandblasting and what a professional finish this left on aluminum rims and it provided a very nice biting finish so my rim paint would stick.

Sandblasting Kit
I purchased this simply because I just can't afford a real blast cabinet & the portable sand/soda blasters are sooo messy. The whole idea with sand blasting with a pressure washer does work however this configuration is a little weak. I have the newer X series 5.74 (i think) pressure washer @ 2000 psi. It could stand to be another 1000psi before you could take off primer, paint, powder coat in a single pass where as it is right now I have to pass over several times to get everything off. 3 stars is because it works real well for what it is.

Doesnt work as expected.
Doesnt work as expected, sand doesnt flow to well even though water pressure sucks it from bucket. Wouldnt recommend again.

Brilliant
I read all the reviews here and it a very mixed bag but I decided to give it a go anyway. I bought dried kiln sand and set it up to blast a 40 year old aluminum car steering box that I bought off e-bay in poor shape exterior wise. I have the top of the range K archer so I knew I had the pressure. I just came back from cleaning it and the finish is truly amazing and very quick. I am restoring a 40 year old vehicle and have had all of it professionally blasted so far and powder coated. This is as good if not better than the finish they got. I then blasted some really rusty steering parts and they got a brilliant finish. At this price this is amazing value and with the right set up works great.Note one of the bags of dried sand I bought was obviously NOT dried properly and did not work. Swapped it for proper dried bag and it worked instantly.

Excellent & worth the price
Unboxed and used 30 minutes after it was delivered. I cannot compare with the cheaper alternatives but I absolutely didn't have the issues of sand suction I could read in the others, quite the opposite actually. Given the reasonable price difference, I decided to go for the original Karcher and haven't been disappointed. But the sand consumption is very high, so plan accordingly. I've used 25kg of sand in 30-45 minutes and will need to buy another 100kg just to finish the job I have at hand.

Impressive … so far.
Having watched various videos on-line (specifically cheaper versions), I did wonder how long this would last before nozzle was obliterated by high pressure sand passing through it, but so far, so good. I used kiln-dried sand which is very fine grain and being so dry, didn’t block-up the feeding tube. Be prepared to spend quite a lot of money on kiln sand (which it gobbles up) and also expect a big sandy mess to clean up afterwards. In summary, this does exactly what it claims to do, albeit quite a lot more expensive than other available makes. The question is how long will the nozzle last and are spares available ?

Ok.
I find the sand required needs to be very dry.I also find it a very messy to use and a bit slow.Perhaps with practice I may find it easier to use.

The grit costs!
It works well. I used 50kg (£40) of grit for a bike frame. So; not the most efficient financially, but quite satisfying.
