I couldn't have known how good this was. I was expected something far less pleasant, like corned beef, but this is great. It's shockingly adjacent to beef jerky, but is absolutely not beef jerky. I used this to make old fashioned S.O.S which is an "antique" military breakfast. It turned out fantastic.

Not in my grocery stores anymore.
Was expensive on here, but I wanted for a brunch get together. Hormel is a good product. Probably won’t buy here again as 15.00 is way too expensive. But shipping was fast.

Can't return broken glass mixed in food
Item was late in shipping and arrived in a damaged package and it was broken. I am unable to return or get assistance. 😡

too salty
Wife made me SOS for my birthday and I was looking forward to it. It has been some time since I first had SOS in the military so though I would like to try it out again. The Hormel dried beef was too salty for my tastes and memory. It didn't cost very much so not a big loss but would not buy it again.
