I like DK but not sure about this one
I got it for enrichment for my daughter who hates spelling, the format here isn't great though and fights me on it more than with anything else.

Not a good "school book."
Do not like this spelling book. I thought it would give spelling list and several worksheets for each set ...... Not at all a "spelling book."

NOT a Spelling Book!
Totally disgusted with this book. It is more of a word history book. There are no lists of spelling words. It's all "Here is a word "aqueduct." What does aque mean? Look in your dictionary and find other words that have aque as a synonym." This was at the beginning. I went from page to page looking for just a normal 4th grade spelling lesson. There are NONE. Kids have to already understand vocabulary and know how to spell the words to use this book. I am not even going to donate this book as I do not want to do a disservice to someone else. Going right in the trash.
