A classy and cost-effective way to improve sills and stairs
I had seen a number of adverts for this paint for the last year or so and finally decided to give it a go on a white MDF windowsill that collects my dog's hairs like it's a full time job!I used Frenchic Creme de la Creme followed by their Browning Wax. Both were very reasonable in terms of price. I purchased two wax brushes from a separate supplier and already had paint brushes on hand. I wiped everything down then applied the paint. The paint flowed really nicely across the wood with a matt finish, very easy to apply, and dried within about half an hour between coats. There was no nasty smell as with normal paint which was great. I then applied the browning wax with the wax brushes and thought I would struggle to get the finish right but it came out perfectly and was surprisingly easy. The windowsill now looks like it's a quality piece of oak rather than the ugly and stained sill that it was before. I have also used it on our banister and it really adds a tough of class where things might have previously looked budget.

Perfect solution for painted wood
This product was applied to a very dark painted black 17th century bathroom door, coupled together with Furniture wax. The results speak for themselves, very easy application with perfect results. i will certainly recommend to everyone.

Wow! Amazing 😍
So...I bought cheap brown varnish by mistake thinking I can achieve the effect I want (wood effect) and it was a mistake because it was sticky, smelly and very very glossy 😭 however after some time I realised that gives me the fantastic cracking effect (I painted the top first with chalky paint then varnish then painted again on still wet surface/varnish and paint cracked after 1hr- wow) so I was unhappy about my renovation and I BOUGHT THIS WAX! Then magic happened! Look at this transformation photos don't do justice but in reality my furniture looks amazing 😍The product is great, good price not expensive, cover very well and a lot, dry quickly a thing it says 45min

Looks nice but doesn’t stay on :/
The media could not be loaded. It looks nice, but idk why for some reason it doesn’t stay on. You have to repaint it after some time as the wax comes off so it’s okay to use on windowsills as they’re not used but it the wax comes off. The quality of frenchich is a bit poor. My friend bought it originally from frenetic website and it does the same thing, it comes off (we did use the crème Frenchic paint under wax) it’s not durable but looks nice. I had to paint it again in few places. You can see on the pics where it has been used where it haven’t so hmmm it’s ok but… poor quality product :/ I might take it off and repaint it again in few places around the house.

Great for beams!
Beams were black and couldn’t face having them stripped. This ‘trick’ works a treat. Cream emulsion first then browning wax!
