Great entertainment
I like the Mimic movies and appreciate them being combined in one purchase. These movies are for adults and teenaged children. Small children would be frightened and disturbed by them. If you like scary movies and bugs, you'll probably like these. I don't especially like bugs, but I like sci-fi.

The first movie is great, second B grade but fun, third was awful
I loved the first Mimic movie back in the day and decided to look for it to buy on a whim. I had absolutely no idea that there had been a second or a third movie made so when I found this set I thought why not? Well... I enjoyed the original movie just as much as I had before. For a movie made prior to the time of special effects they did a fantastic job and I cannot think of how they would improve upon it in this area if they ever did a remake. There are some well known people acting in this movie too.The second movie was tied into the first by a character from the first movie and is meant to be a continuation. There was a story line there and I did find it enjoyable but in a b-grade made for cable channel movie kind of way. I will definitely keep it to maybe watch again in a few years when I need something fun and campy to watch. The third movie was so awful that I will not be keeping it as I would never watch it again. This is saying something because I actually like quite a few lower grade "horror" movies and find them to be great fun. In this case I feel like I lost an hour and a half of my time that I will never get back. I also looked at some of the special features to try to figure out what went so wrong and apparantly this was a first "real" movie for a guy just out of school. It shows. There was no decent story line as far as I was concerned other than they tried to do it as a knockoff of the Hitchcock classic Rear Window.

First two were good
The first two movies were great but the third stinks. You don't really see much but shadows. Third wasn't worth watching.
