Easy to use and clean, does the job
This is a great little salad shredder. Never had one before, was worried what kind of blades these are. They are plastic and don't cut your fingers. When using this you just kind of stomp down on the salad over and over, it does a great job and is easy to clean.

You need this gadget!
Whoever invented this should get a Nobel peace price! Truly genius. This is going to save me so much time! I just used on kale to chop up for a dish I was making. I'm also planning to try it out on herbs like cilantro.

Not that easy to use
I was very excited to get this to help me chop my every day salads in a small salad bowel BUT, this is NOT for a small individual bowel. I say this because it ejects the lettuce out of the bowel with each chop. Would work great in a very large (family size) bowel. You do have to apply much pressure to it in order to get the chopping action. I thought mine was broke until my husband showed me that I wasn't putting enough muscle into it. I'm keeping it for when I do make large family salads but am disappointed won't get to use for the small stuff I make every day.
