The media could not be loaded. This fountain is great, it was bigger than I expected. If you’re worried about “leakage” just pay attention to your rock placement. If you create an artificial dam the water will have nowhere else to flow and obviously start to leak. It’s super simple so it can’t go wrong, there’s a bowl and a flat rectangular piece that goes on top where the water flows. The motor is quiet if you place it correctly, also I had to use scissors to cut about an inch (probably a little less) from the plastic tube so it doesn’t lift the top, but this was very easy to do. I recommend always using distilled water to protect the motor from mineral buildup, and if it does eventually break just buy a new one on amazon (they’re like 15$ for two). On top of that I bought a smart plug from amazon and control the fountain through Alexa without having to be home. Overall, you get a lot of bang for your buck since it’s aesthetically pleasing, and the relaxation and “zen” it brings is pretty nice! Also added some extra rocks and leaves I got from Michaels for other little projects I’ve had.

Nice fountain. Not very heavy. Only complaint is that top tray can slide off of bowl. There is no ridge to hold it in place. It's really not an issue, since it is stationary anyway. I purchased my own stones, for a bit of color, but it does come with a bag of natural color ones. Very quiet and you can adjust water stream.

Styrofoam was damaged, the on/off switch wouldn’t adhere to the side of the bowl like it’s supposed to. It was very disappointing

I have had this fountain for 15 months now and only just had to change out the pump, which is not terrible for 15 months of 24/7 use. The original pump did get a bit noisy if the water ran low (which I think is a good thing, because it reminded me to add water). I cleaned all parts two or three times with white vinegar and water. I found that distilled water with an occasional few drops of birdbath and fountain maintenance liquid (non-toxic for those who have pets or kiddos in the house--we have both). It is a delightful addition to my home office. I tried a new fountain about every six months when I shifted to work-from-home at the start of COVID. This is by FAR the best I have had. The others had cheap plastic parts, etc so I finally splurged on this one. This is sturdy, easy to use/fill/clean/decorate. The replacement pump was only $8. I do wish I would have splurged a bit for a replacement pump with an external on/off/flow switch. Next time, perhaps!

I was looking for a product for my ear to fall on a sound other than the freeway when I sleep at night. I am returning the item because the sound is too soft.It is in excellent quality product and delivers with all the pieces wrapped well, but does not meet my needs.

I love this fountain. It is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, I couldn’t give it five stars because of how loud the motor is. When I first got it, it was perfect. The motor wasn’t too loud and the sound of the trickling water is exactly what I wanted. Around day 3 is when the motor got really loud. I thought that I needed to add more water to it so I did and that did not help. I am going to keep the fountain, because fortunately the sound of the motor doesn’t completely drown out the trickle of the water. But I do wish that it would have stayed as quiet as it was the first few days.

The media could not be loaded. Great little fountain. Has a nice weight to it. As another reviewer stated I too needed to cut the tubing for better fit, not a big deal. Also if you want more of a “louder” trickling this can be adjusted by the rock positions.

You can make the sound of water falling even louder by carefully placing the rocks by not obstructing the flow so that the water runs down at full force and hits the bottom bowl even harder to create a soothing dripping sound that's peaceful to hear at night or even during the day.Some people are saying that it's too quiet, but I think it's perfect. Any louder and it could potentially be more annoying if anything.I would highly recommend this item for anyone who is going for that minimalistic look, needing a new tabletop decoration, and for someone seeking a nice calming waterfall sound in their home. High quality piece.ConsI wish they added more rocks. I would like to recommend potentially selling the same product with different color ways of rocks and by also adding 2x the amount of rocks than what is provided. Other than that, love it!
