Getting the right part

So far, so good
So far, so good. These batteries are slightly smaller than the 1500mAh batteries that I was using in my RC to battle the birds - they fit in the compartment much better. Also, these batteries do not seem to be as fragile as the 1500 - they do not need kid glove care to ensure they don't go dead. And also, they seem to last as long with my minimal use scenario.
