Longevity is the key
It's not that I didn't like them or even if I did like them. I have used several LED automotive bulbs prior to this and over a period of time, they will either start to flicker, drop LEDs, or just go out. Only time will tell and I will update this review in 6 months and then again in a year to see how the lights are holding up. Longevity is the key to LED bulbs

Make these last even longer
So far so good with these replacing some lights on my trailer but I have noticed products like these are very sensitive to water intrusion where as the old incandescent didn't care when used with DC power as long as they weren't submerged completely.To get these to last longer try these pro-tips:1. Add a little bit of dielectric grease around the base to keep water out. Don't go crazy and put so much grease in there that you lose contact, but enough to keep water away is a good thing. The grease is not a conductor so if you put too much or cover the contact points it won't work. Be smart.2. Whatever you are putting this into, if it has a house (say an RV porch light) use a good sealer or caulking around the housing to keep water out of the light. Seal it up nice, and because these things when not exposed to water last a really long time, you won't need to worry about it again for quite a while.3. If your house has a rubber gasket, add some grease to the gasket to get a really good seal. Again, these last if you treat them right and you'll rarely if ever have to change them if you put in the time up front.Final Pro-Tip: Clean the receptacle you are putting these into. I don't know how many people complain they don't work etc when it is really the receptacle. Clean it out with denature alcohol or electrical cleaner or the like and let it dry. If there is rust, a tiny bit of sandpaper to clean up the contacts and make them all shiny really helps. If you do this combined with the other tips you might never have to change that bulb again. I have a few that have 6 years on them and not a single problem.Enjoy!

I was hoping for these bulbs to be brighter.
I did a comparison of these bulbs vs. standard incandescent bulbs. No noticeable difference. If anything they were not as bright as the standard incandescent.
