An amazing product.

I purchased this Zenwifi XT8 two-pack to cover my 2-floor apartment totalling about 3000 square feet. The apartment is concrete and brick, which is notorious for blocking wifi signals. Before I got the ZenWifi set, I had a Netgear Orbi RBR20 two-pack which was a good set but it was too weak to cover my whole home. Not it's fault really, I should have gone for a higher end Orbi setup. I live in a Mumbai apartment building, with many many Wifi neighbours which also contributes to signal degradation.Now on to the performance of the ZenWifi. I have the mesh nodes connected wirelessly to each other. You can also connect them via ethernet if you have the cabling laid out for it, which I don't.I have about 22 devices connected to it at any time. It's working like a champ. In the mornings we have 3 Zoom meetings going on simultaneously and this mesh system handles it like a champ. 3 devices in my home are Wifi 6 compatible and the rest are Wifi 5 and below. They all work perfectly. Devices switch over from one node to another instantaneously when you move from one floor to another.I have a single SSID for both the 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz-1 band, and the second 5 Ghz band is used by the nodes to communicate between themselves. The second 5 Ghz band is not available for your devices to use unless you use ethernet to mesh the nodes together.I have 2 internet connections from 2 seperate ISPs in my home, each with a 100 Mbps up / 100 down speed. I use the Zen Wifi's Dual WAN feature in failover mode to make sure that my family has 24/7 internet connectivity, which is critical during lockdown months.This is a pricy setup for sure (I paid about Rs.48K for the 2-pack) but it's totally worth it if you really need to cover a large area with Wifi 6 signal with zero dead spots. Another nice thing about Asus Aimesh is that you can add another Asus Aimesh router (can be a low end one also) to this mesh whenever you wish to expand your network coverage area.All in all, this is a 5-star product for me.

Wanted to move to a mesh system due to multiple devices across floors and after a long research I really thought that Netgear Orbi would be the right fit. However even after 2 replacements their products didn’t even boot properly, tech support is pathetic. I have not got a replacement even after 1 month. But this product ASUS was a butter. It just installed in a flash. The first impression is amazing. There are no more dead spots at all.

Extremely easy to install, I could also integrate my 5 year old ASUS router in the same Mesh network. Extremely powerful and rich feature set.Highly recommended product for serious home networks

exactly 3 months after purchase, the satellite unit decides to pack up with signal strength just dropping, starting and stopping at its own free will, so in effect left with only the master router in one room so much for the whole house being covered,,, remember under beautiful designs lies the real truth

An excellent mesh system for those who are unable to receive a stable WiFi signal and coverage across their homes. It completely banishes dead spots as it says!

Superb Wifi 6 Mesh Router...Excellent Coverage & Speed.

I have 3 of these across a large house. It performed brilliantly initially. Lately, 1 of them has completely stopped working, and the other is also not getting a stable connection with the base router to the point that we have to reset and relink it on a daily basis. I know for a fact all of this happened after the firmware auto-updated. Overall, please stay away from Asus Wifi products.
