Fell apart immediately
This fell apart within 2 minutes of unwrapping it, and I have a very disappointed kid right now. One arm completely fell off when it was (gently) transformed. Really poor quality. Do not buy!

Good beginner transforming toy
Our kid loves these! Purchased first at a science museum but it eventually broke. So did his heart so Amazon, you got us! Purchased a replacement and he’s happy.

Slowing buying the set
My son loves these animal transformers. They do break if kids aggressively transform them, but my son still plays with all the ones he has

Not as robust as you might like for a kids toy.
My grandson loves these! We picked up the Black Bear as a gift to add to his collection...as soon as we opened the package, a leg came tumbling out. He was devastated, I tried to fix, but it just needed to be returned. The cross-section of plastic that had fractured was very thin and not stout at all. We have not given him the replacement yet. We unpacked it to avoid a repeat of the tear-shower, and it is in one piece. I just hope it is more sturdy than the one it is replacing. He has several others and none have broken, so we are hoping the break was a fluke...

Absolutely Horrendous, I'll Take Ten
Forest & Twelfth have really found a pattern they like, seeing as every one of their transforming animals uses basically the same transformation with minor changes to how various parts are hidden. This results in a number of hilariously flawed robots with questionable design choices, but frankly I don't much care about that. These bots are full of character, and their animal forms have a far more animalistic shape than a good chunk of the classic Beast Wars models managed. It's debatable whether they're really worth an average of $15, but when you take into consideration that Hasbro's offerings in a similar size category run upwards of $25 the disparity seems fair. Definitely looking forward to expanding my collection of "deformers," if only because just trying to make them stand up and look presentable is comedically difficult.
