Works better than anything else
We have a cat and still had a mouse problem in our kitchen cabinets. Didn’t want to use poison due to potential for cat to eat. Tried a variety of things, including traps. This works amazing. It smells good and is safe. Just need to refill with peppermint oil (you can buy the rodent repellent online or make your own) every month or so as the scent does fade.

I really wanted these to work....
I was distraught to see evidence of a mouse or mice in my pantry and was searching for a solution. Mice Dice were an attractive option because of ease of use and because I needed something that wouldn't harm my very inquisitive dogs. I REALLY wanted these to work. Sadly, they did not. While others talked about these emitting a strong scent, the ones I received certainly did not. Maybe my packet was old??? I have no way of knowing. What I do know is that they had zero effect and not only were there mouse droppings right next to the dice, one even had a dropping on it!!! I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THESE.

I imagined these to be closer to the size of rearview mirror dice. They are larger than board game dice, but not by much. I was also expecting a refill bottle of the oil since there's a picture of that as well. There is no bottle of oil with this. However, the scent is definitely strong. It looks like refreshing them with more oil will be easy enough (once I buy more oil, that is 🙄)I just put them out so I can't speak to the effectiveness yet.

Under engine bonnet for RV
Put all (6) them under my doghouse hood in my 1994 Fleetwood Southwind Storm back in mid Feb 2021. It's now 05/14/2021 and I'll report back here soon when I check the RV. I started with 3 rating will up it if need be.Update: Pulled the RV out of storage 2nd week of June and gave the engine area a thorough check. No mice poop anywhere. Upping the rating to 5. They can easily be popped open to add more peppermint oil. Purchased some 100% pure essential peppermint.Update (2/18/23) they continue to work very well no sign of mice in engine bay. I did give them one more soak in peppermint oil after they had been in for roughly 2 months. But prior to re-soaking they did still have strong peppermint smell. I've placed (5) in engine bay and (1) just on the inside of generator cover. The (5) I placed in engine bay are on each side of intake manifold, on top air filter housing, top of fan shroud and top of upper radiator support frame.

Helpful
Have been using these for about 5 weeks now and seems to help in conjunction with the homemade peppermint spray (peppermint oil and water) we spray every other week around kitchen. Unfortunately after plugging as many as possible, it became apparent quickly that we still have access points we can’t get to behind the cabinets in the kitchen without ripping up the counter. So I put these dice around the apt with the majority in the kitchen and I add a few drops of peppermint oil to them every once in a while just to keep them super scented for our furry little uninvited guests. Seems to be working so far as before they would walk around even when we were home! I literally watched one walk in from under the stove and go into the living room to his death thanks to one of our well placed and baited traps. Haven’t seen one since the application of peppermint spray and mice dice though and haven’t seen any poop either. Will try and update if we do!

Oil saturation is weak.
Odor disappears within a week. Can recharge somewhat by immersing in liquid peppermint oil.
