Brilliant product, worked a treat
Bought these as a last ditch effort to get rid of an ants nest on my balcony before forking out £300 for professional pest control. Had tried some other brands but nothing worked. Within 5 minutes of setting these traps (very easy to set up, you just stick the end of the scissors into the indicated spot and give it a wiggle) the ants were swarming in droves out of the nest, going in and out of the traps and carrying the bait back to their mates. Within 24 hours there was no more ant activity to be seen. Absolutely brilliant, I'm gobsmacked at how quickly it worked. I can enjoy my balcony again now!

Only for black ants
Works well for black ants only. Had some yellow ones, that made a nest out of it!

KILLING ANTS
Although I cannot say my home was exactly infested with black ants, they were a nuisance. I first saw them appearing in the bathroom, through a tiny hole that seemed to go behind the tiles in the shower! At first I just crushed the poor critters but although I stopped seeing them in the bathroom, then they appeared one or two on my computer keyboard, or my bedside table, or across the lounge carpet, then on my work surface in the kitchen, and a couple of cupboards. Although the most I have seen at one time is six, and it is just usually one or two, I decided to deal with it before it got out of hand. The thing is, I don't eat at my computer, I don't eat in bed, I sure as hell don't eat in the bathroom, so they were marauding. The day I bought these Raid Ant Bait Stations I had seen six on my work surface, next to the kitchen sink, but I hadn't left any crumbs or food debris there. At first I sprayed with bleach but they kept on coming. The day Raid Ant Bait Stations arrived, I popped one can behind the toaster, and one can on the floor under the fridge/freezer. I haven't seen an ant in the kitchen since. However, I have just seen them back in the bathroom again, staggering around. I think they might have had a rough night of it in the Raid Ant Bait Stations. I think that the nest must be there, at the back of the shower tiles. (How did they end up there?). So I've just popped a welcome can of Raid Ant Bait Stations in the corner, out of the way of my ever-curious Ragdoll cat. Come and get it, ants. 😂Someone mentioned it is difficult to use the cans. It's not. You have to pierce the metal can in two places where shown with a sharp object. I held the cans firmly down on a hard work surface, holding on either side of the can with my fingers and the palm of my hand out of the way, and shoved the point of a small knife gently but firmly into the can. Easy peasy.

It was ok
It killed the ants initially ,but stopped working after a short while and hadn't killed all the ants so they just came back. It is quite expensive to have to repeat the baits every few weeks.

Does the job very well
I don't like to kill any insects, but several years ago we had quite a number of ants scampering around our tiled kitchen floor, and I had no choice but to keep stamping on them. Then my husband decided to give Raid a try, and it really worked - touch wood, we haven't seen a single ant since. I can't comment on the scent as I don't know whether its meant to be fragranced or not, but I honestly can't smell any scent at all; it certainly isn't offensive. My only criticism is that you have to make a fairly large hole in the tin in two places, and this is really quite difficult; the metal seems very strong and isn't easy to puncture. But at the price, they're very good value and seem to work very well.
