Works Great
For two years I was using a expensive system that did not perform that well. After almost giving up on the that devise, I seen the ad for the OREI ARC 4K ethernet extender. I made the purchase if it did not work I could return it.Shipping was fast, what was faster was setup 5 to 8 min at the most. It was able to from one device to another without any problems, my av rack is in a different location in the same room so I did not need the Rf cable.I have a Sony tv, Marantz 60 cinema, Panasonic Blu ray and Apple TV All 4k, dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision and 7.1 speaker systemI have to say that because the OREI ARC 4K ethernet extender can handle all the signals when my real expensive device could not. You can't go wrong with this extender.

Disappointed
I've been very disappointed in this product. I paid a premium price because I wanted to be sure it would work reliably. I am sending video only 20 feet, but the picture blanks out randomly and often while watching programs. The duration of no picture lasts from a free seconds to a few minutes. Very disappointed.

Returned for the $300 full arc support
The media could not be loaded. I would like to thank this company for their exceptional service. They respond very quickly even on their YouTube channel. Support team is very very competent. I had to return this unit because I purchased the wrong one. This one only goes one way. The $300 unit goes both so YES IT DOES WORK IF YOU WANT TO RUN DOLBY ATMOS through an AV receiver. For the comments saying it doesn’t, you must be hooking it up wrong. I ended up buying through their website and ended up paying the same price as this unit! They were kind enough to give me a discount code. I didn’t want to run a 25-30 foot 4K hdr hdmi so I opted with this brand extenders. 100% works and I’m truly happy because it’s perfect. I’m getting 4k hdr @60htz. So if you are in need of an extender that needs arc support going both ways buy the 300 unit. I eventually made it work with This unit but it was inconsistent. Not the units fault for what I was trying to run. Again if u are trying to run atmos go with the $300 unit. Overall experience with this product and customer service is superb. Thank you for this!!! I’m running a wemax short throw 4K projector with 120 “ woven screen. My speakers are all inwalls and behind the screen. 3 polk inwalls 265 rt as my fronts and 2 in ceilings. The wifey didn’t care too much the surround sound I’m building but after I got it set up, she was amazed that she said do or spend what you must if it can sound even better. Will post pictures later when I have the chance. If u have problems contact the support team and they walk u through it. Great product Orei!!!!

Verdict still not clear as I work with tech support
Product works great - when it is working. I periodically need to cycle the power on the device to get it to perform. I am working with company on resolution and they may send me another one.I connect OREI HDMI between a LG TV and a Sony receiver. I am using Cat5e on a short <25 foot run (already in wall so cannot be exchanged for Cat 6). I replaced an older component TV and my in wall component cables are useless with 2023 technology 4K. The OREI works at first. However, when I change my HDMI port (or go to the TV's built in smart TV apps) the OREI goes blank when I go back to its port and TV says no signal. When I cycle power on OREI, it comes back on. I also periodically need to cycle on initial power up.From playing with the devices, I am speculating that the OREI is going from sending video to the TV to sending audio back to the receiver (eARC) and that this is causing it to get "stuck". I say this because my LG TV will often label the port as eARC and not the Sony receiver or the Roku connected. Reseting power brings it back to square one, and it comes back on broadcasting HDMI video like it should.I will update this review when I learn more, but thought it might be helpful to others.

Simple and no loss of picture quality
This has been a good device since purchase and it appears we haven’t lost picture quality at all since it was installed. Truly a help with the wiring issue and good quality.

2nd one I have used setup was easy and quick
This is the second one I used of these units, and it worked out great for the application. I needed ARC and CEC for a remote Yamaha surround receiver up to the main TV. The unit is kind of backward in a traditional way, and the instructions leave you wondering on which end the receiver and transmitter hoes. The sample in the instructions shows the TV and receiver both on the same side and a remote blu-ray player on the transmitter side. 99% of the time, you are trying to push video from a receiver to the TV and send back CEC control and audio via ARC to the surround receiver. I am not going to have 4K video up to the TV, but wanted to leave that option to the home owner should he decide to get a Blu-ray or send camera video to his main TV.

Great picture quality
I really like this product because I need it to connect my receiver to the television in their separate about 65 feet. Connected everything and the picture quality was great. It does work great in 4K which is exactly what I wanted. There was no lag in Dolby Vision worked great. I’m very pleased with the product. I would highly recommend to anybody that’s looking for this kind of AV solution.
