Victron Energy SmartShunt Battery Monitor (Bluetooth) - Victron Smart Shunt - 6.5V-70V, 1000 amp

I built a golf cart that has become a bit more capable than just chasing your shot on the course. After upgrading everything and adding Lithium batteries I started to have some concerns that charging/discharging certain amounts, at certain times might become an issue. With lithium batteries, charging at temps below freezing will destroy batteries. Combining this with a temp sensor, I was able to prove this blocks all voltage when reaching certain temperatures. This also took the max Amps I could produce (675A), and worked as you think it should. The VictronConnect software is very simple, but includes all of the information youd want, as well as keeps a history. You are also able to network the shunt to the temp sensor so there is no latency between decisions, or discrepancy in voltages. The bluetooth connection was fine, reaches 20 feet through three house walls

Nice unit great features easy install. Can not get to Bluetooth with my iPhone 13pro max, but works well with iPad. Must be within 15’ with iPad to work.

These blue products are a bit pricey, but they work well and are very good quality. You get what you pay for. A shunt is required for good battery management. My house bank is 780AH so this size was needed. Works well so far.

I have this shunt, 3 lithium batteries, and bus bars installed in my camper. Prior to installing the shunt I never had an accurate picture of what my battery status really was. The little lights that are installed on most campers are basically worthless when it comes to details about the battery status. I can track hours remaining, energy used for devices running on battery, along with a number of other parameters, and alarms. The shunt was relatively easy to install with the parallel battery bank and shunts. Do your research and draw yourself a wiring diagram and you should have no problems.

It works better than the 500 W version but Bluetooth functionality is still lacking.

A nit pricey, but it works well. Installed in an RV battery bay. The blue tooth signal reaches a phone in the area above the battery bay, but not at the driver's seat. Good enough for occasional monitoring of power consumption, though I wish the signal would reach the front of the RV.

If you’re building any sort of off grid system, you need to know how much energy you’re using. After proper set up the smart shunt tracks things very well and gives you peace of mind, knowing what your system capacity and reserves are. Bluetooth and available app are easy to use set up and understand and give you all the data you need.

Bluetooth, amarvel for wireless data transmission but on this device the Bluetooth is so terrible, that I can't get it to connect if I'm in the back of a 26' trailer and having the device up front, I have to walk to within 10 feet to connect.The stats and data provided are great, I like being able to program how many amp hours of battery and different voltage settings.
