These rippers are very sharp and easy to use.
These rippers are very sharp and cut seam threads very fast. I have to un-sew seams often to do repairs and they are great. I gave some to friends and they also love them.

Sharp, and the best for working on tight seams
I get tired of seam rippers that aren't even sharp when you buy them, so I have been using these.Yes, I am a penny pincher who has actually used a file on some of my larger more expensive ones, and once even tried the sharpening stone I have for knives and scissors. But the larger ones, even sharp, don't always work in small, tight corners and seams. These do. Appreciate they come with covers.

Good quality. Not the super best.

They’re ok
Not as sharp as others. They work but take effort

I suppose they are better than nothing
I've used a name brand scalpel type seam ripper for many years but after 30+ years, the plastic handle had become so deformed that it was difficult to replace the scalpel blade when it got dull. I came on Amazon to buy the same brand and got too tempted by the somewhat lower price of this product. I figured, well, a scalpel blade is a scalpel blade, why pay (a little) more for essentially the same product.Oops.I happen to be working on a project with rather fussy topstitching and some difficult seams, so I've been sewing a lot and un-sewing a lot. I'm using a size 60 cotton sewing thread, so I'm not using anything that I'd expect to dull the blade quickly. And yet, in less than a month of use, the first seam ripper is already dull. Not the point but the inner (sharpened) curve of the blade. The blades for my previous seam ripper did eventually dull but much more slowly than these blades did.Worse, the safety cap is difficult to jam over the blade and yet quite soft. While the safety cap was still covering the blade, I picked it up and was holding it while I juggled with my project in my other hand. The project shifted, covered the hand holding the seam ripper by the safety cap and when I tugged it off, the blade shifted within the cap and the point neatly pierced the cap and my thumb.I'm adding a couple layers of packing tape to reinforce the safety cap of the second seam ripper and when I've used these up, I'll go back to my name brand one. My sanity is worth the investment of a few dollars!
