Spektrum 2000 MAh TX DX6/DX7G2 Battery

You need this in your Spektrum transmitter if it doesn't already come with it! Before swapping it in, I went through AA batteries like crazy! Just programming a plane can sometimes eat up the AA capacity dialing in everything! So I finally pulled the trigger on it for my DX8e and have not regretted the upgrade! It is a bit costly and there are some less expensive alternatives, but this was a factory battery that is rechargeable without having to remove the battery! It uses the port opening already on the DX8e's battery cover. The fit is very precise, and you do need to remove all the foam inside the battery compartment. I left the foam on the cover to make sure the battery wouldn't rattle. The only complaint I have is that the connector is very difficult to plug into the DX8e unless you have small fingers. I used a small flathead screwdriver to push down and seat the plug. From what I've seen, the other transmitters aren't as bad since the receptacle is situated different, but on the DX8e it's a bit of a pain. Anyway, the battery works perfectly and lasts a good long time! If you're still using AAs, you need this battery! For the price, the charger should be included, though.

I had previously bought one of these for my DX 6E system, however, I bought another one and it fit as well in my DX eight system. Much better than using dry cells.

Perfect fit in the Spektrum DX8

Works well, a tight fit. Need to remove all foam from battery tray and works then. Flying indoors at local school 10 to 12 6 minutes flights a day and only drops maybe 1/2 volt.

Keeps me from needing to keep replacing the AAA batteries. Should have come with a charger. Cannot be used without a charger so why not include one for a few bucks more.

This battery gave new life to my Spektrum DX7 Transmitter. The previous battery had run it's course and was only lasting for about 4 or 5 flights before need to be charged. . This new battery allows for many more flights and fewer charges between outings.

Spectrum has mad it a difficult to order the Spectrum battery, It Will Fit The DX6e!! , a little tight 👍

I bought this for my DX6 transmitter because I was tired of going through AA batteries. The battery provides good runtimes and saves me money in the longrun. Installation was fairly straightforward by removing the foam inserts from the transmitter. Snaking the wires into the transmitter was a bit of a pain. Overall, satisfied with my purchase.
