The Seven Figure Agency Roadmap: How to Build a Million Dollar Digital Marketing Agency Paperback – October 29, 2019

I really liked this book because Josh added real world lessons of what he went through. I also liked that he has different clients information about there struggles and success. Josh really went into a lot of details about every little step to take and he explains why. This book is great for digitial marketing but he also talks alot about business devlopment. How you need to set up the right processes and procedures. This book is also a good book for business owners as well. He talks about sales, marketing, and how to set things up right the first time.

Many books preach rather than teach. It activates you! Totally recommend this book. It will add tremendous value to your systems in place.

My review is beyond 5 stars. Already a successful agency looking for the forest through the trees and FINALLY, after 15 years, this book showed me a picture of that forest!! As a generalist agency owner with a team and great clients, it has always been my challenge as to where to market my services. Do you have any idea how many persona workshops I've been through? Demographic research? Service niches I'd tried...?I was only 5 pages in on this book and couldn't put it down. In just 3 weeks, I identified a niche business, built a model around what Josh wrote about, and have it in action as of right now! I have not yet reached out to Josh, but I will... to thank him.This brings me to the 1-star reviews here... You have to be a certain level of agency for this book to make sense for you. This is not a 'DIY' agency roadmap for you kids out of college getting started. You need to be established, at least a little. Yes, Josh has a consulting service, which I may use.. but trust me you 'established guys'... the book has everything you need.

This is a good book for new agency owners and there is a lot good info in there no matter what level you're at. However I think a lot of the technology and other suggestions e stations are slightly dated. If you just understand the concepts in this book and apply them, you'll do well.

I met Josh in-person for the first time in late 2016 at a Power Day where he shared every aspect of what his company was doing to provide results to his clients. Interestingly enough, Josh and I were in a training program in 2012 or so. He and I were always participating in that group. Right now in the marketing world there seems to be a new model. Create a service business. Have modest success for 3-6 months. Start an advice business based on your "proof story" of your modest success. Sell as many suckers as you can. Oh and stop the service business as fast as possible because that is too close to "real work".In the agency training space, this is literally what about 90% of the "gurus" out there have done. It is weird that they are so bullish on agency but don't run an agency themselves anymore... maybe a red flag lol.Anywho... Josh Nelson is not one of those guys.He built a real multiple 7 figure agency. From the ground up. Still runs it every day.It's a non-sexy... bread and butter type agency. You know, the kind that makes you rich if you stick at it. So, when I found out Josh had written a book about his path - I just skipped straight to the buy now button and devoured it fast.If you're in an agency business and want to grow it, you should get this book. the chapter on productizing your service is more than worth the price of the whole book alone. Great advice all throughout the book. Just get it. You won't regret it.
