Matte Clay 100ml – Strong Hold Hair Styling Clay for Matte Finish and All-Day Definition

Perfect hold and doesn’t go sticky or greasy in the hot sun - I love it!

I have tried waxes for my moustache and not been happy with them. A friend recommended using a clay. I decided to try this and it is perfect. Gives the twirls of my moustache good hold.

Bit disappointed was hoping it would have better hold but it does the job in a pinch.I slick my hair back and quiff at the front, my usual product got discontinued so took a chance on heist. It’s more expensive than I like to pay but happy to pay if it works, I prefer Matt fibre texture for my slick back due to hair loss, this stuff definitely has a good Matt texture look to it, but I did find it made my hair very frizzy after a few hours and I had strands of hair sticking up. I was a bit frustrated as it doesn’t hold my quiffs shape properly, if I dare add hairspray it doesnt mix well and makes my hair very flat and even more frizzy later on. It does wash out easy, maybe a little too easy so im worried if it rains.I’m not the biggest fan of the smell either it’s not my cuppa tea, reminds me of when hair clay gets too hot with a hair dryer and it makes that weird chemical smell.It may be my hair as it can be difficult but this product is not for me.

This pomade is less a pomade and closer to a wax gel (not as good as Black and White) however that aside its not a bad product. Hold is firm and the shine is good, a little goes a very very long way especially when warmed through your palms, the issue I have here is only a tiny bit too much can make my hair go from being a nice hold neat style to looking over done and "greasy"

Short textured spiky hair(thick and coarse), longer fringe for a quiffIt’s basically way too wet and oily. Applied to blow styled hair with the usual shoe shine method as I do with my usual matte clay of choice. It just looks like gel in my hair and exposes the scalp like it, but greasy looking. I’ve given it a go but every time I’ve got to use texture powder to take away the greasy look. It’s a very creamy clay. You can really call it clay as it’s too loose, like a Cornettos icecream and it never really dries out and becomes matte, which suggests very little clay content at all. It’s also wet enough that if youve straightened your quiff, this stuff makes it curl again like it’s got damp and also, by far, this stuff is the worst for creating fly aways, I don’t know what’s going on, but it’s dreadful for it.From experience the firmer the product in the jar, the better it’ll be. FAILAlso, stop making hair goop smell!! I buy nice smells that I want to smell of, I don’t want to then stink the place out with the synthetic coconut stench of the goop I’ve rubbed on my head.

I have tried many matte clay products over the years with varying success but after trying this from Heist, I have found the one. It smells good, holds well, not greasy and packaging looks great. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant product! Great in hair and didn’t make it feel heavy or weighted down but did give my hair a good hold and matt finish - perfect!

Perhaps a bit expensive but good product.
