Lichamp AC R1234YF R134A Gauge Set, Automotive 4 Valve Manifold Gauge Compatible with R1234YF R134A and R404A Refrigerants, Works on Car Freon Charging and Evacuation

Purchased because it said made in the USA. Tired of china junk not lasting. It looks great although I didn’t realize I will have to use an adapter for R134A 30lb drum which is what I use mostly. Also disappointed that nowhere on gauges or case does it say made in the USA. Description says company is from Colorado.

I ordered this manifold set to do the replacement of my evaporator core in my BMW G30. After a lot of research, I decided to pull the trigger on this set. It came only good after I ordered it and when I opened the box, I was immediately satisfied with the quality of the set. It feels and looks well built and the gauges were very easy to see and read. I was able to pull a vacuum on my car with this manifold set for over 8 hours and and charge my system with zero leaks. I had a one point, let it set on my car overnight for about 10 hours after pulling the vacuum and was surprised when I came back to it and it did not leak at all. I was also very impressed with the tool that came on all the hoses that slides down to each side of each hose that gives you leverage to tighten the connections without the need for additional tools. I highly recommend this manifold set for anyone looking to do maintenance on any R1234yf, R134a, or R12 AC system. It does cost a little more that some of the other kits that I found, but remember, many times quality comes with cost and it is worth it!

A buddy of mine bough a Harbor Freight version, then he bought the adapters.I got this set for what it offered, it has every adapter in it you could want, that alone is worth the extra money.This very high-quality has just about everything in it that you could want. Definitely pleased that I bought it!

I never own other A/C gauge before but did try this gauge on both R134a and R1234yf. Both cars' a/c are working now. R134a is easier with reference and instruction videos everywhere but R1234yf is a totally different story. There's barely any instruction video and the settings are a bit hard to understand. I think the that help the most is the ability to know the high side pressure with a gauge. Before this I was using those A/C Pro recharge kit that only based on the low side pressure. Be careful recharging your A/C system with those type of recharge kit. If you never used it on your system before, those may work well but I don't suggest using it second time as you can easily over charge your a/c system and caused damage to my clutch like I did. I used the simple recharged kit and overcharged the system and caused the compressor to lock up and burned the rubbers on the clutch hutch. One thing I learned is pay close attention to the high pressure and go slow on the charge. It takes time for the system to build up the pressure on the high side when the freon is being charged from the low side. Need to allow time for both sides of pressures to stablize after putting in freon from the low side..Overall this kit works well for me. The only complain/improvement suggestion I have is to include an coupling adapter for charging from freon cans that has a valve on them. Or may be by simply reducing the diameter of the puncturing pin on the adapter. When using freon in a can with valve, the current pin diameter is too big so when trying to use the pin to push open the valve, it barely left any room for the freon come out the can. It was a challenge to use the on the R134a feon can with a valve. Other than this issue, the kit worked out great for me. My son's R1234yf a/c is freezing cold now. By the way, them R1234yf supplies are freaking expensive.

Great kit for the money

First of all, I lost a lot of time and money by replacing different parts thinking that my AC system has leakage but it turns out that this gauge is leaking, not the AC system. That’s horrible, I really regret choosing this brand out of all the options.Also, I would have to say that the design of the valve that is screwed on the freon bottle does not work - it has a too thick rod and because of this freon cannot come out of the can. Luckily, I had another valve but I never got to use it because this gauge is leaking and I couldn't even make a vacuum in the AC system. Horrible experience and a very unreliable brand. Will definitely return!

It works but . Gage is ok at best hoses appear to be decent. Not great but the connectors are absolutely junk. They failed shortly. They leak and the charge hose thing they give you to hook to the Freon cans is an absolute joke.
