Easy to install with simple instructions. Made doings it myself easy. The rear lift gate on my Sequoia works again. This is an easy job if you have basic repair skills. It was much easier and quicker than taking it to an automotive shop, not to mention the cost savings.

I bought these for my 2010 Sequoia to save money from having the dealer install them at some crazy price. They are easy to install, there are plenty of You Tube videos on how to do it. It only took me 15 minutes to replace both.The best part of all of this is I bought them in October of 2019, I came out to my truck just a week ago and I heard air leaking, I thought it was my tire and I looked and one of the cylinders were leaking on the lift gate. So I went back on line found who I bought them from and filed a return on Amazon website. The product said it had a Limited Lifetime warranty. I was really skeptical at first - so I figured I would give it try. I filled out the form for a return, within an hour the company responded to my request and a couple days later I had two new lift gate cylinders. That is what I call customer service and standing by the product. I put the new one on and all is good.This company defines customer service and standing by their product. No, I do not get paid to write reviews this is all a true. I would buy without hesitation from this company.

These worked great on my 2008 Sequoia Platinum. It has the power lift gate. I was unable to compress these even a little bit. You must remove BOTH of the old struts first so that the lift gate can open wide enough to accept the strut lengths. Be sure to have either a helper or something to prop it open. Once I figured that out, it was simple. Works like new!

These fit nicely on my 2015 Sequoia. Had to get someone to hold the hatch higher so I could get the 1st one attached at both ends. Then the 2nd went in easier. These feel a good bit stiffer than my old ones while closing the hatch by hand but the old ones were worn out so maybe this is how it is supposed to feel. I'm just happy the hatch lifts all the way on its own now and I'm not hitting my forehead anymore.

If I had known how super easy these were to install it would have saved me several headaches. My old suppports were failing to keep the hatch up, it would close while we were loading! If this is your problem too, buy these today!

These worked perfect for my 2012 Toyota Sequioa. I had forgotten how high the lift gate could go. Super easy to install, put a 8 ft ladder under tail gate to help hold it up while we changed it out.
