The only significant negative comment I saw in the reviews was about the hose connector being plastic, but it looks like the product is now updated with a chrome, knurled, spring-loaded quick-release coupler that is all metal on the gauge side and the hose side. The hose pops in easily, and pops off just as easily by pulling on the collar. The trigger is a LOT easier to modulate than the two traditional bulb valves I've used. Perhaps this is less important for a professional, but for an amateur like me taking a reading from someone with very "quiet" arteries, better equipment made all the difference between a white-knuckle experience for both the "doctor" and the patient, and an easy, quick, and comfortable one-time reading. Also helped immensely to ditch my cheap stethoscope (that works fine for "normal" patients and pros) for a good one.

Product very easy and great to use. Cuts down on extra cords in the way. I love it, so glad I spent a little extra money on it.

I like the concept of having the pump and gauge in one. Compared to traditional BP cuffs, this prevents problems such as obstruction of the gauge either by clothing or the cuff itself, possible injury if gauge is not attached securely (they’re pretty heavy), and is easier to place onto patients because the pump is detachable there is no weight imbalance to slide the cuff before it is fastened.The only thing I dislike is that it wobbles a bit when pumping but it’s not a huge issue. If the pump mechanism was a lever, rather than a bulb, it would resolve that issue and maybe feel more ergonomic

I really like this bp cuff. The trigger system is easy to use and you can easily control how fast or slow the cuff deflates even at higher pressures. The cuff itself is made a of a plasticy type material which some people don't like but I prefer because it makes it easier to wipe/clean. The gauge does have a luminescent dial and markings/numbers but you have to intentionally put it up to a light for like 30 seconds to get it to glow in the dark afterwards.The connector piece which connects the gauge to the cuff tube is plastic and looks like it could be a point of failure and also uses a tiny o-ring to make a seal. The part is called the 804CN plastic luer connector which you can see here, click on model options, 71[...]). It is possible to buy replacement ones from random online dealers, which I plan to do just so I have a few extra just in case. I've also seen one or two reviews where the company sent replacement ones for free. The gauge is plastic on the outside but doesn't feel that cheap, however, I wouldn't trust this thing to survive a few drops.Overall I think it's a great cuff, it does the job well and makes bp's much easier to take, just treat it gently. I will update this review after using it for a few months. Honestly for me, I'm using this one until I can afford something like the Heine Gamma GP.

I am a hospice RN and I simple love how easy this device makes my job! I was so tired of fumbling with balancing the sphygmomanometer somewhere I could actually see the numbers. It is very accurate and I love it so much that I bought another one when I accidentally left mine at a pt home. I purposely bought the purple one the second time so it would stand out and I wouldn’t leave it sitting amongst my patient’s belongings. I highly recommend!!

I purchased this b/c of the manual one-hand release, thinking it would be a welcome relief from having to navigate the standard BP cuff, and because it is difficult to always find a manual cuff at the ready. Well, it is easier; however, this cuff has been inaccurate 100% of the time on both the SYS and DIAS readings. I have taken a patient's BP manually (using another, reliable cuff), followed by a set of VS on this cuff. The SYS is anywhere from 20-50 off, and the DIAS about the same. Compared to 3 other cuffs, and 2 automatic machines (not always accurate themselves, I know, but they are closer to a good manual read than this was), this cuff has been off 100% of the time. Not a good thing when we're monitoring any acute care patients, let alone just doing standard VS. I'm stuck with it, so maybe I'll give it to my grandson and let him tinker with it, but I definitely won't be using it for patients at this point.

I liked the fact it’s one unit and not have to fiddle with two tubings and a separate dial. However the tip that connects the tubing to the manometer broke. In fact it broke twice. They sent me another tip but that broke as well. I thought about purchasing another unit but not when it’s almost twice the price of what I paid for it before.
