Roblox Game Development in 24 Hours: The Official Roblox Guide 1st Edition

This book was awesome and I am waiting for a premium stipend for getting enough (500 robux) for advertising! This was a really good influence to my programming level.

well i would have given this book a 5 star review in how well written and how much fun the flow of the book was. unfortunately about halfway into the book the code stops working so it seems pointless to muddle through the rest of the book. if the code were good and the roblox studio format matched the newest studio format. it would have been an awesome book. perhaps an update or a re-release with updated code would be in order.

I'm a developer and looking to learn basic Lua. The Biome/terrain making hour is impossible! And the hour before that, Building With Physics is EXTREMELY outdated. This book is helpful in some cases, but I'd love if you made a book like this for 2024

When this book was first published (mid 2021), it was probably a decent guide to Roblox game development. Unfortunately, it is now outdated. For example, the Add, Grow and Erode tools have been replaced with other tools in Roblox. You'll waste time trying to figure out which tools have replaced them, and exactly how to use them. The same thing is true of other Roblox tools mentioned in the book. I also found it unhelpful that the authors fail to provide a crucial instruction until after they tell you to play test an exercise. Here again, I wasted time trying to determine where I had gone wrong, until I finally realized that the information I needed was mentioned a page or two later. Definitely not recommended.

This book ruin our enthusiasm after the second chapter or second hour, the suggested codes didn't work and we were looking at you tube tutorials for help. Now, we are considering paying a lot of money for in-person school....but we can't afford it.

My daughter was very mad in 5 minutes she couldn't do the code

This book is good but its way to expensive It costs 23 bucks I mean just because this is a officall roblox product it does not mean it can be 23 bucks???

My son loves this app on his iPad so much!
