Did the job perfectly
I bought the Yeti microphone for zoom meeting and recording meditation videos. It's a great mic, but it picks up a lot of background noise, and voice pops. This cover muffles it just enough to filter out the unnecessary noise. It looks huge on the mic, but it does exactly what it was created to do!

Cute
Works well and people comment how it looks cool.

Get this one
First I bought one of the cheaper ones -- the foam had a rough cut, and arrived squished because the packaging was so cheap. This is the one you want -- the foam is cut into nice rounded edges and it feels much more professional.

It’s blue so I bought it
It works well enough. If I’m being completely honest I just wanted a blue puff filter. The foam in comparison to the other puff filters I have bought in the past is a little thin. It doesn’t feel as dense as other puff filters I’ve purchased. I don’t notice the mic picking up any wind or extra background noise. Seems to work alright. My only gripe is for the price you can get a set of 2 in black with slightly higher quality foam. Looks great though so….I kinda recommend it.

Doesn't cover entire blue yeti mic -- emailed to ask for advice
I put the windscreen on my blackout blue yeti USB mic by only applying pushing pressure at the top (no pulling motions). I noticed that it does not go all the way down, and still has space on top. Please see photos attached for current results. The windscreen comes flattened in the packaging, and seemed to have a small rectangular imprint on one half (also pictured).I've emailed VocalBeat to ask for advice on the best way to put on the windscreen so that it covers the entire microphone, without damaging the windscreen. Will update review upon their reply. This is my first microphone and windscreen, so I'm still learning about how to use and maintain the equipment. (: I bought them together recently.======= Update from 4 to 5 stars.VocalBeat replied to my email in less than 20 minutes, and I was successfully able to make my windscreen cover the entire mic without any rips or damage. See their instructions below."The best way we recommend to install the windscreen is to hold the foam in the palm of your hand and then apply it on the microphone in a circular motion like a screw until it is all the way down, applying the force from the top. please try and avoid pinching the foam and pull[ing] down from the sides, as this can potentially rip small pieces off."I did this circular screw motion back and forth a few times. Now the windscreen fits snugly, with small pockets of air at the top that I assume to be normal. As for the odd shape that some reviewers commended on, I fixed this minor aesthetic issue by rotating the windscreen so that the crease points are on the left/right side, instead of the front/back sides of the mic.=======

Attractive and sturdy
First and foremost I want to say that the customer service from this company “VocalBeat” is pretty awesome the email they sent me made me feel like a valued customer of this product..Sound quality:To be fair it doesn’t change the sound quality all that much it just drowns out those annoying sounds that the mic picks up but all together doesn’t harm the qualityValue:I can see that there definitely are cheaper options, however this thing is very well made and fit snug onto my mic making it quick and easy, it’s made of a very strong foam that I don’t think you would get from those cheaper optionsNoise cancellation:This one for me is a bit lack I know it won’t drown it all out, I stream and have a noisy little fan in my pc that kinda makes it hard to hear but it takes some of that away just not all of it so don’t expect it to completely drown out background noisePros:It’s made with a heavier foam making it quite durable while having a tight fit to make it stay and it makes your mic look way better because it just gives this certain attractiveness to it,Cons: not very many to be frank but a couple things I could nitpick is that fact that there were dents in it I couldn’t very well get out, that and it’s not so good for canceling louder noises like that pesky pc fan..Final thoughts:Well worth the money to be completely honest it’s just made well and it’s well priced, that and the customer service is pretty great

Works exactly as advertised
Bought after seeing someone's video demonstration in these reviews (if you don't see that here, you should look), but if you want a comprehensive written review, here it is.For context, I make youtube videos where I'm on mic for hours at a time, and we do lots of laughing and shouting at times. Without the windscreen, I popped and peaked if I wasn't careful.Foam windscreens are a great, cost-effective way to improve your sound quality without breaking your bank, and this one does just that. Fits snugly over the Blue Yeti, but would probably work well on another similarly sized and shaped microphone. Having handled both a Yeti and a Snowball, I doubt it would fit a Snowball.I have a slight lisp, which makes my "p", "t", "s", "b", and "k" sounds pop slightly on the mic without the windscreen. With the windscreen, the mic doesn't pop much.Note, I said that it doesn't pop much. In order to completely rid your audio of any pops, you need to get a pop filter. Foam windscreens will NOT replace pop filters, but can supplement set ups that still get popping with a pop filter, or a set up where popping doesn't happen as frequently. And if you're still having that problem, you need to adjust your set up. Sit further from your mic, turn down your gain, make adjustments in editing. The product never claimed to solve every possible problem, and it doesn't, but it does what it says it will do.Long story short, if you want to cut down on popping and peaking in your recording, and budget is your concern, buy this windscreen. If you can afford it, buy a pop filter as well.
