I’m not sure if it has anything to do with WiFi signal, but the Mount is solid, well made, easy to attach to a wall.

How was the install? Super Easy, Barely an Inconvenience :)Three anchors, three screws and three mounting holes - pretty darn straight forward.I hit one stud and the other two are anchored, som I’m guess this will stay put until I bring it down. Solid build and should last longer than my router.

I really like the design of the mount... it's sturdy with 3 mounting points, the LinkSys unit mounts securely and comes with all the hardware you need. Before purchasing these mounts, I wished there had been a white unit available, however, I'm very pleased with the black. I'd recommend and purchase again.

Had to return due to the fact that it's not made for the older Velop V2 nodes. They literally fall through the middle of the base. They seem strong enough for a wall mount and easy to install.

Way better than expected. Made of metal and firmly holds the router satellite in place.

Very well made, powder coated metal bracket.Came with hardware (wall anchors and screws) and a screwdriver for easy installation. Installation was super simple and I would definitely purchase this again if I expanded my network with additional nodes. With room between the wall and router, I was even able to mount a small portable hard drive behind the router for backup purposes.

The wifi shelf is sturdy. The mounting hardware is good quality. The two brackets attach the router firmly and the brackets are custom fit the base of the mx4200 unit.There are no instructions. Be sure to loosen the rear bracket before sliding the unit’s base lip under it. Otherwise, you will shave off some plastic. Then install the front bracket and finally tighten both brackets.Unfortunately, the shelf is metallic. The self is roughly the same length as 2.4 GHz dipole antenna. This interferes with the Linksys router’s ability to receive and send a wireless signal.I tested the router sitting on the floor with and without the shelf under it. The router was receiving the internet from another MX4200 unit in the house and repeating it to my wifi6 laptop. The laptop was located just six feet away from the router.I tested the router on both 2.4 & 5.0 GHz bands. I tested the router across several days. I even left the bracket attached for three days to see if the router’s beam forming would eliminate the problem. The results were consistently inferior with the bracket attached.2.4GHz lost 11% of download and 12% of upload performance with the bracket attached.5.0GHz loss 13% of download and 3% of upload performance with the bracket attached.
