This arrived yesterday along with the black matte handle and the under the seat bidet I purchased from Amazon. The seat is high quality wood and since my bathroom is black and white, the hardware in matte black really turns my toilet into a regal throne. My bathroom is tiny so the install was a little tricky because of the space I was working in to get the old seat off, the bidet on and then install this well-made wood seat. The slow close is a great feature and once this seat is on, IT IS ON. I couldn't be happier and as a 79 yo female, it was a easy DIY for me to attempt and complete! If you need a new seat, think about getting this one.

Do you know people joke around about the toilet being the throne well this toilet seat actually feels like a throne lol. It doesn't move it doesn't slide and the lid closes so nice and softly. We got the black hinges and they look amazing. Super strong material and easy to install. My husband had it done in about five minutes.

These seats added a touch of class to our bathrooms. We changed out the seats and the levers (Korky brand) in the guest half baths. The swap took less than 15 minutes. It really does level up the bathrooms. The seats are a bit wider on the top and both the toilets are different brands. I noticed it at first, but I don’t now. I also don’t think anyone else would notice it. They are sturdy, quality seats.

Very sturdy and stable due to the metal hinges. Frustrating to install unless you have a socket wrench, in which case installing is a breeze. Cannot yet speak to durability.

When I opened the box that the toilet seat came in, I was underwhelmed by the lack of protective packaging. The seat came in an unsealed plastic bag that was not fully covering the seat so upon opening, I noticed a knick on the back side of the seat. I wish it shipped with some bubble wrap or foam within the box or even if the bag in the box was fully sealed to avoid any damage during transit.Besides that the seat is heavy duty and durable, does not wobble at all. The soft close feature is nice. The seat was super easy to install compared to the previous one that I got from Home Depot. The bottom lip was a little larger than my Toto bowl but it has been comfortable so total non-issue. It is easy to clean too, was worried about wiping the gold part with Clorox disinfectant when cleaning but no issues there either.

Maybe 5 time will tell. Easy to install. 1st one I received was defective quality control or I received a return. New one arrived and no visible defects installed in a bit and it looks great. I didn’t give much thought to how a simple upgrade and needed replacement to a toilet seat could look so good. Like the chrome accents. Slow as a turtle on the down low but I think it’s very cool and gives it a quality feel. Will order another soon.

It is a little tough to put on. You have to hold it down a bit and open and close the lid, because of the soft close feature. I used a wrench and tightened it above the bottom part that they say to snap off. I didn't snap off the ends. Don't see the need to? I have had it for over a week. It gets a lot of use in our house. Has not slipped yet. I did have to return the first one I got because a piece was broken. If the company would just tape the parts to the inside lid and put a strap on the lid to keep it closed during shipping the parts would not slide around a brake or chip any part of the seat. Price is a bit high. But, I would recommend this to people looking for a toilet seat.
