Fits only certain Thinkpads with the much smaller square hole in the red finger pad. Fits a Lenovo Carbon X1 but will not fit previous Lenovo Thinkpad models. It is difficult to see this in the photos. Remove the finger pad on your laptop and see that the square hole on the underside will be different than some of the products offered on Amazon.

In addition to what is documented it fits also a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Extreme Gen 4. I had no problem switching the cap. Note: this cap has a very small square socket (opening), so make sure your tracking point pin is as match for it.

Perfect for new 3ds and new 3ds XL nub mods. I modded two new 3ds' and one new 3ds XL and it is a game changer. It's so much more grippy on your thumb and makes the c stick nub actually usable.It's a super easy mod to do, and the hole on the bottom of the nub easily slots into the preexisting stick.

This is great for a 3DS hack to replace the nub stick. The feel of these trackpads is much better than the OEM nub stick.

3mm trackpoint cap too low for the Thinkpad L14 Gen 1. When installed, it was too difficult to move. Had to buy the next size up (4mm) designated for the Thinkpad X1 Carbon. The 4mm cap moved like a dream on my L14.

Several choices for which "dot" to use. This worked well for my Lenovo T430 ThinkPad. Pricey. How many does one really need? I'll take mine one at a time, please.....
