I like listening to 3 Doors Down music.

I love 3 Doors Down. They're one of my favorite bands,and I own and love all their albums they've previously released. This is a great collection of songs at a great price. Like others,I feel a few other songs could've been included though. There's nothing from "Time of my Life" which I absolutely loved. I feel that at least "Every time you go" could've been included even though the record wasn't as successful as their others.The three new songs are fantastic! They rate among their best work in my opinion especially "Goodbyes." What an amazing song!I would go for 5 stars,but I don't care for the remixing and remastering of the old songs. I have all the band's albums,and I prefer the original mixes. The new mixes sound muddy and compressed to me,and they're remastered way too loud to me also. When you crank the cd up it sounds distorted to me compared to the original versions. I guess this is another example of the "loudness" wars. The band's records have always been well-produced and engineered to me so I don't know what the thinking behind the remixing and loud remastering was. Why mess with a good thing?You can't really argue with the collection overall especially for the price. I think this is good for a casual fan looking for most of the hits,and big fans like me who want the new songs.

The title of this album could have been 3 DOORS DOWN: THE GREATEST HIT, because to be honest outside of "KRYPTONITE" ( i thought the title of the song was SUPERMAN) i wasn't too familiar with the bands music.However, needing some new music on the way to VEGAS to see DAUGHTRY and really because of that fact ( 3 DOORS DOWN has done some touring w/ DAUGHTRY and the singer has done some on-stage duets w/ DAUGHTRY that has really impressed me ) I purchased this CD along w/ some greatest hits compilations by CREED and WHITESNAKE.I have hopes this will be a good road cruiser CD because the trip to VEGAS from Valencia, Ca is a long but tolerable haul with some good background music and my hot asian fiancee beside me.3 DOORS DOWN: Dont let me down!!!DES

Love the hit songs

Really like this. It is a good collection of most of their best songs. No greatest hits compilations are ever exactly what you would put together yourself but this one is close. I have been a fan of 3 Doors Down for years .... pretty good music and a likeable bunch of guys. Bought this for my son and he loves it. Going to buy another copy for myself, I have all of the CD's that went into making this one, but it puts a lot of the songs i want to hear all on one disc so it's worth the repeat purchase. Nice CD.
