Best cat carrier I’ve ever known
I’m a retired CVT of almost a decade and a half, so I’ve seen just about every regular and out-there carrier you can probably imagine. This carrier is every clinic staffs’ dream, not to mention how spacious it is inside so my cats get to ride in total comfort. At any vet appointment, the top opens one or both sides to easily help with even the scared-iest of kitties, which helps vet staff get to them MUCH more gently and easily too! I feel like this was a steal for having my cats ride safely in luxury and vet staff able to access them safely and easily without disassembling my entire carrier or scruffing to pull out the front gate. Even I can carrier our 16lb cat comfortably with the shoulder strap and a hand on the handle to stabilize while able to use my cane! I tell everyone I can about it~!

Highly recommend.
This is a sturdy carrier and the fact it can open up from the top helps greatly when I need to put my stubborn boy in the carrier. He hates to be put in a cat carrier and will fight me to not go in. So I can open it wide from the top to drop him in. The only two downsides are that sometimes the doors don’t close perfectly so take your time to put the doors together properly and make sure the locks are snapped shut. It isn’t hard but if you rush to close it sometimes the doors don’t line up properly. The second is Watch out for your cats tail or paws when closing the top portion if you don’t pay attention a tiny paw or in my case his tail kept the doors from closing. Now let’s be completely honest. Most cats hate going into a carrier and will put up a fight so they are going to grab onto anything they can to keep you from getting them into it but so far this has been the easiest one to Wrangell my wild boy into and there has been no injuries for the both of us. Trust me when I tried putting him into a normal carrier with only a front opening no amount of cat gymnastics would help get him in and I would end up having a few new scratches to show for it. The wide top opening is what makes it manageable.

Love it.
My cats never want to come out of the carrier when we get to the vet, so this is perfect. I open the top and can pick up the cat. Easy.Pros and cons:I did have an issue with it coming open with the cat inside once. Make sure you push each piece into place very hard, because it’s very easy to not secure it properly. I haven’t had anymore issues with it opening.I bought this on sale and would say it’s worth it for the sale price, but maybe not for the original price. The size is good for typical small-medium cats. But if your cat is large like Maine Coon, you’ll need something larger. My roommate has a very large and overweight cat and this is not big enough for him.The carrier feels cheap. I don’t think it is. But it feels like it could come apart when I’m carrying it. It’s very lightweight and I think that’s why I feel this way. When assembling the carrier, you push the pieces together and they click into place. It feels to me like they could come out of place. I would prefer something that secures differently. All in all, I really do love this carrier. I don’t think it’s cheaply made. I don’t think my cat can escape as long as the pieces are secure. But triple check them. I leave the carrier out and feed my scared cat in it and he’s not afraid of it at all. I only rated 4 stars because I think the original price is too high for what it is.

Well, this was a surprise.
I'm not only a cat owner, I also foster kittens for a rescue. I'm not saying this because I think it makes me special - it just means I've seen lots and lots of different carriers over the years. This one was a surprise, and not in a good way. I bought this for my daughter, who brings her cat home from college almost weekly. He hates being in a carrier, and has learned that he can take his claws and rip right through mesh. She needed something with no mesh at all, but also comfortable with lots of ventilation and spaces to see to help make the experience less stressful for him. I remembered seeing this carrier in an ad on social media and it looked perfect! All plastic, large front viewing window, a shoulder strap, and totally adorable, too! I was really excited to get it for her, and when it was delivered yesterday I immediately set to work assembling it.Wow. I set to work, and worked, and worked, and worked. This thing DOES NOT go together. If you are lucky enough to get one piece on, it will pop out of line as soon as you add another. I watched the instruction video from Catit, and they make it look so easy! It took me an hour to get both side pieces on and lined up so that the top would close. Then I moved on to the front/door piece, and only one side actually clipped in when the top was attached. I could only get the front on securely by knocking the top out of line. I removed the door and lined up the top again, and again the door wouldn't clip on - one side came right out with any pressure. Then I learned that even when the top is aligned and clipped on, as soon as you open the carrier from the top, it all goes out of whack and can't be closed correctly again. Start Over. Get the sides all aligned and closed, and try to work on the door again, and it all pops off. Start Over. Just by picking up the carrier, you can feel the two side pieces moving independent of each other, jumping out of line again. Start Over. I'm not sure how secure the plastic "clamps" for the sides are, or how well the plastic door latch works, because I was never able to get the thing fully and safely assembled to that point! This is, without a doubt, the most disappointing and frustrating cat purchase I've ever made. This is going back today - just as soon as I can get it in the box. You'd think that would be easy considering how impossible it was to assemble, but no. Now one side piece is actually clipped in to one side of the door and won't come out, so it won't fit back in the box. It's ridiculous. I guess I get to spend the next hour working on it some more. My advice to anyone that was like me a few days ago, looking at this super cute carrier and thinking it was a bit pricey but so cute and your cat is worth it.... Your cat is worth more. Trust me, and trust all the other reviews here. This is flimsy, never fully goes together, and it's not something you would ever consider putting your precious pet in.
