I was initially skeptical, but this product is quite good. It's not super cool, but considering that you don't have to refrigerate it, it's certainly cooler than nothing at all. My dog was initially apprehensive, but after placing it partially on my leg so she could lie next to me (as she usually sleeps next to my leg), she seemed to accept it. I can definitely feel it drawing heat away from me. I would wholeheartedly recommend it for dogs that are sensitive to heat.

I live in AZ, so I really wanted this to help my dog cool down. I didn't feel it was very cold, so now I put it in the fridge and it is great. It took her a bit to get use to it, but now she lays on it to cool down after each walk. It really helps quickly.

This product really does get cooler to the touch when you apply pressure . My only thing I wish it had a cloth covering as my dog doesn’t seem to really love the material. He is getting use to it though and with frequent redirection to lay on when he’s hot and panting he seems to be choosing to go there more.

This cooling mat arrived with lightning speed and was well-packaged. It has absolutely no odor. My 15 yo Australian Shepherd has already started feeling too hot with the arrival of warmer weather, so I got this cooling mat to put on top of his bed. I thought it was going to be a tad too big, but it fits perfectly! It's definitely cool and I don't doubt that it will help him feel better. While he hasn't taken to it yet, but I'm sure he will soon enough. He used to have one when we lived in Florida, which he used all the time, but after about 5 years, it got a tiny tear, and the gel started to leak out. This mat has a thick outer cover, which makes it very durable and not prone to damage that will lead to leaks. I highly recommend this cooling mat!

Where we live summers are hot and humid. We bought these for our medium sized dogs to take out on the boat and put them in shaded spots. They didn’t seem to take to them all that much. We tried applying pressure with our hands to measure the coolness (as best as that may work) but they didn’t seem too cold… Maybe these are really best suited for indoor use. Still on the hunt for summer mats that will cool dogs off for a few hours outside!

Such an Awesome! Product!!! The new design is Much much better without the squishy gel! Nothing compares to these cooling pads! We have multiple sizes throughout the house and take where we go! LOVE these!!!
