Samsung 55" TU7000 HDR Smart 4K TV with Tizen OS, Black [Energy Class A+]

I'd had my old TV for almost 10 years (720p 42") so thought it was definitely time for an upgrade.The difference is incredible, the picture is so sharp, even watching older shows like friends it was really different, it took a little while to get used to it!Very easy to set up, it only took a few minutes and instantly recognised my Sky box and PS4. Its pretty light, I thought I'd need a 2nd person to help attach the legs but was fine doing it own my own (takes 2 seconds, just push them in).Remote is good, pretty compact and has specific buttons to access Netflix, Amazon Prime and Rakuten TV.Sound seems pretty clear, I had problems with the last one but this seems fine.Edit 2: I updated and mentioned a few negatives but these all coincided with me having WiFi issues, since that has been fixed the problems have gone, changed back to 5 stars!

I've bought this TV a few months ago and I absolutely love it. The picture is nice and crisp, sound is brilliant, apps work well on it really well and the Smart Hub is brilliant aswell (if you have a Samsung phone that is).Yes there is one down side to the TV which is a small down side.When you plug in your console into the TV and you don't change sources the console will automatically turn on but with the universal remote you can just turn your console off.Also the TV does come with IPlayer but you have to install which doesn't take that long at all.Connecting your Samsung account to the TV is quick and easy aswell.

An absolutely brilliant TV. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. I was going to save for an OLED but after looking into it I went for this.The one remote feature is great, allowing me to turn on and control all my devices from Sky to Xbox One. I did not know it did this?!?HDR films and UHD are stunning.Once I changed the settings it has made the image quality fantastic and the motion looks so realistic.Gaming has really gone up a notch too and is stunning.The sound is also great.Easy setup. Affordable. Great

I ordered this back in June 2020 and it looks great! The TV bezel, as expected with these newer models, is quite thin and the build quality is what you would expect from Samsung. The smart features are pretty standard, nothing major compared to previous models. It's really easy to setup and you'll be guided step by step to get up and running in half an hour.There are a few issues with this TV:1. The navigation is quite easy to use but unfortunately there is a bit of lag when browsing through the menu's. Maybe the processor isn't as strong as the higher priced models which is unfortunate and a bit annoying sometimes. Especially when you power on the TV; it takes a while for the navigation to smooth out.2. I did a firmware update and this caused the picture to flicker constantly when switching on the TV. Only after switching to another channel did this go away. Got on the phone with Samsung for support and it got sorted out with a few steps. If this is happening to your TV you should do a picture reset first and see if this will resolve your issue. To make double sure do a factory reset by going to the settings. This will however de-link all your Netflix, Amazon and other accounts and you would just need to login again.An overall quality product but could have been slightly better.

For the money it’s an amazing amount of technology, picture is great. If you are confused about the 7000 this is just the black version, the others in the 7000 series eg silver are more expensive but they all appear to have some features. I ordered it and it came about 3 days later - the tracking code I couldn’t find a website where it would work but it came one day before the estimated delivery window first day. I don’t know why this TV has so so reviews on Amazon, it has very good reviews elsewhere. I bought it on here only because black ones has sold out everywhere else. The gap between the legs according to the box is 841.7mm with 1 to 10mm margin of error. Oh and it has iplayer app on it.

The picture is superb. I bought this for my daughter and I have the 2019 version - this beats my 2019 one by a considerable margin in terms of picture quality, and I'm not usually convinced by the incremental changes these companies usually make in order to generate higher profits.HOWEVER - I'm personally impressed with the TV and the very reasonable price. Sound is excellent too. This is one of those products though - if it freezes, just turn it off and then turn it back on again, it always does the trick. Just like mobile phones, smart watches, etc etc
