Good tool but not suitable for watchmaking jobs, as the grip is too large.

It has been decades since I've used one of these, but we had a situation at work that needed tiny drill bits for cleaning out some very tiny holes. When one needs to clear a hole diameter of 0.080", this is the tool holding the bit. It got the job done.

Solid product. Gifted one to a maker in the family - he loves it, too.

This pin vise has reversible collets at both ends, giving you 4 collet sizes. The threads are smooth, and the knurling is grippy without being sharp. Great tool, especially considering the price.Don't buy the other "alternative" cheap pin vises, unless you really want the set of small drills they come with. I tried one of those, and the pin vise is functional, but very rough and has poor jaws.

It works wonderful at what I use it for. I use it to hold small needle to apply glue.
