Great resin, great for jewelry
I’ve bought the 8 ounce easy cast before, and this is just the same but you get more. Works great, very clear, make sure your resin is about 73-75 f when mixing and pouring for best results. If the resin is too cold when you mix and pour it can make it cloudy and hard to pour. And for me it also took longer for a hard cure if it was too cold. Took about 3 days. I did the same jewelry pieces but tried harder for the resin to be warm and the jewelry poured well was clear and had a hard cure in about 18 hours. Follow the directions for best results. I highly suggest this is you’re trying to get stares with resin projects and jewelry! Would buy again

Pricey resin with quality results.
Pretty easy to use. This was my first resin project and it came out well. I used multiple batches of resin and all the clear ones meld seamlessly into each other. The final pour on the bottom has tint swirled in to color the background. No issues with bubbles (it does self degas as advertise - just pop them at the surface with a lighter), it is crystal clear, and is generous with its work time. For the average hobbyist like me, bigger projects would be cost prohibitive with this resin. For small projects that require a higher quality, I will definitely buy again.

Crystal clear and cures perfectly
Made 3 batches so far, each worked perfectly except for a hemisphere mold, where there was a slightly rough line between the layers poured. I tired to keep the items from sinking so poured a 1/2" deep layer and waited an hour, but it hadn't set up by then so we just went ahead (they items didn't stick through the epoxy after all). Used small plastic cups to mix with that had ribbing on the sides, so it was easy to measure out exactly the same amount by counting the ribs and marking both cups before pouring. I also had trouble finding a perfectly elvel spot for them to cure, so the first batch was tilted. Results were spectacular - dazzliingly clear. So clear that the plan to put small rubber bumpers on the bottoms of the coasters meant that the bumpers have to be considered in the overall design-- they are completely visable. Wonderful project for making presents out of a summer's collection of sea glass and shells. Used slightly more than one 16 ounce kit to make 2 3" hemisphere globes and 4 4" round coasters.

Easy Cast is the perfect name!!
This is great stuff and so easy to work with. Cleans up with rubbing alcohol. A couple notes, I noticed that after about 5 years (I've used the same product in the past) whatever you cast will start to yellow which kind of sucks. It's not bad but it is noticeable. Also, if you choose to reuse your tools (cups, stir sticks etc) when you clean up with the alcohol, make sure that youare in a well ventilated area, and do not mix any water in while cleaning up, water makes it 10x worse. There is really hardly any fumes with just alcohol used as clean up but add water to that and the fumes can be a bit much. The instructions do mention this, but not everyone reads them all, so I'm warning you now ;)You do have to measure this product like all resins, but this is an easy 50/50 mix, and it takes about 24 hours to set so you have plenty of time to play with it.It works well in silicone molds, like shaped ice cube trays.

EXCELLENT CASTING!
This product is great. For all the users who are experiencing problems -- the mixture has to be exactly 1:1 and it MUST be the right temperature! My castings have been hardening in less than 24 hours. This stuff doesn't smell great and it seems silly to mix, put in a new cup and mix again, but it really works well. BEST ADVICE -- do NOT use something irreplaceable for your first casting! I can't believe i read reviews who were upset about their mixing skills ruining their projects. If you have not done something before it is best to PRACTICE. I bought this with the Brodi casting molds and did not need to condition the mold prior, it popped right out. Some items will float in your liquid so keep that in mind for projects. My castings came out great.

Great Product for First Time Users
This was the first time I used a resin product like this. It was easy to prepare, low fumes/smells and the results were great. I do not understand why people are complaining that the product was not "clear enough". My only comment re: that would be that they did not follow the directions completely. If you do not stir the product for at last 5 minutes total, it is cloudy. AND, it is important to let it "get air" by moving it from one container to another while stirring as the instructions suggest. My project was a serving tray which I inserted items from my son's wedding as a memorial type of gift. It came out GREAT! Very happy and would use this product again in the future. NOTE: Just make sure you give it plenty of time to cure.

Easy with silicone mold - won't resist heat (but not supposed to)
I tried making a few coasters with silicone molds. That part works great - they pop right out. One thing though, if you make coasters - putting anything hot on it (coffee or tea mug, etc.) will slightly melt the surface just enough to stick to the bottom of the mug and leave a slight depressed ring on the coaster. It doesn't really ruin it, but it's the sticking while you're using it as a coaster that you can't get away from. Not complaining as it doesn't state it will hold up to direct heat, but FYI for those interested.I'm going to try spray coating with something that resists the heat but haven't tried it yet. But for the cast itself, it's very straightforward, doesn't smell while curing, and comes out very clear. Depending on your use, you'll have to work out the best method to avoid bubbles, which is not always easy.

Cure time slower than advertised
Box says it cures in 72 hours at a temperature of 75F. Room was at stable 78F, which should make it cure faster, or at least not significantly different. Day 4 and it's still picking up smudges and fabric.
