Very strong but gentle.
I was worried using this to try and hold some of my delicate plants straight, fortunately it's rubber outer layer is extremely soft and did not cause any damage. Its also extremely strong and I would recommend having some side cutters as scissors won't cut it.

Perfect for tomato plant ties
Easy to use. Cut into 25 lengths of 20cm long pieces, which were easily bent into shape but securely tied around the tomato plants and support canes. They are a nice feel and much better to work with than hard plastic clips or flat plastic coated wire. Hopefully I'll be able to use them again, so they should be recyclable too next year and beyond.Perfect for the job.

Good value for money and liked the appearance but too difficult to cut - even with pliers - somebody else did it but also had problems - if it was easier it would have been excellent
